‘Foo Fighters’ open LEEDS FESTIVAL 2019, with one of the biggest sets of the weekend, leaving the crowd in a great mood.

Leeds annual and biggest music festivals ‘LEEDS FESTIVAL’ returns with one the most energetic line-ups this festival has seen in it’s twenty-year history at Bramham Park. Following last year’s diverse line-up’s in Reading and Leeds festival’s history, this year festival promoters ‘Festival Republic’ bring an all genre line-up to this year’s festival line-up.

Topping this year’s three-day festival are… FOO FIGHTERS, THE 1975, TWENTY ONE PILOTS AND POST MALONE. Appearing alongside them include… A DAY TO REMEMBER, ROYAL BLOOD, BLOSSOMS, BILLIE EILISH, THE WOMBATS, ANDERSON… PAAK & THE FREE NATIONALS, FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES and many more..


The festival kicked off with some of the best upcoming bands and artists. One of Gloucestershire’s finest upcoming bands ‘ MILK TEETH ‘ opened up the first day over on the Main Stage in front decent size crowd who were already at Main-Stage most likely queuing all day to see Dave Grohl and Co in FOO FIGHTERS who are headlining later in day. ‘ CHILDCARE ’ opened up the BBC Radio 1 Stage, while ‘ VISTAS ’ opened up the Festival Republic stage and ‘ The Loose Cut ‘ opened up over on the BBC Introducing Stage.

MILK TEETH ‘ are a punk band from Stroud in Gloucestershire, the band consists of ‘Becky Bloomfield’ on vocals and bass, ‘Em Foster’ on guitars and ‘Oil Holbrook’ on drums. The band have released their debut album ‘Vile Child’ during 2016, and have since released various EP’s since with ‘Go Away’ being most recently released during 2017.

Some of their well-known singles include.. ‘Nearby Cat Fight’ and ‘Stain’, both of the tracks were included in their set and also included some new music from their forthcoming sophomore new album due to be released in future.

MILK TEETH ‘ attracted a decent size crowd to their performance at LEEDS FESTIVAL 2019. Especially opening this year’s festival at Bramham Park on the first day. They’re definitely a band to watch out on, hopefully will make their name bigger one day in the future.

Over on the Festival Republic stage, one of Scotland’s finest upcoming bands ‘ VISTAS ’ opened up the first day of LEEDS FESTIVAL 2019 on the Festival Republic stage. The bands consists of Prentice Robertson, Dylan Rush and Jamie Law. Since 2016 the Lothian band have released various of singles including… ‘ Retrospect’ , ‘ Tigerblood ’, ‘ Calm ’, ‘ Eighteen ’, and have recently released their debut EP ‘ Hello ’ this year.

VISTAS ‘ are definitely starting to move their name throughout the entire United Kingdom, touring constantly non-stop, also opening up for some big current bands like ‘ THE WOMBATS ‘, and also appearing at major festivals like Reading & Leeds Festivals, TRNSMT Festival and many more.

Their performance packed out the Festival Republic stage tent, it also included some Scottish hometown fans, so was nice to see a hometown fans supporting one of their own in the crowd. ‘ VISTAS ‘ are definitely making their name big style now… It is exciting to see where this band is going to go next, the crowd engagement with them is just incredible. Fans were already singing words to their songs just having the best time ever.

The line-up across the first day was a very mixed genre and seen performances from of best bands and artists currently around the world right now. Main Stage seen rocking performances from… SWMRS, MAYDAY PARADE, YUNGBLUD, THE DISTILLERS and ENTER SHIKARI. Making their names over on the BBC Radio 1 Stage seen performances from THE FAIM, PICTURE THIS, THE STORY SO FAR, MACHINE GUN KELLY and THE AMAZONS. Storming and packing-out a tiny PIT Stage tent were HOT MILK, STAND ATLANTIC, NOTHING, NOMORE and PALAYE ROYALE. Upcoming talent from… THE SNUTS, ANTEROS, CAVETOWN and BASEMENT were making names in front of a decent size crowd in the Festival Republic stage.

One of the most earlier exciting sets were from the Yorkshire’s very own ‘ YUNGBLUD ‘ over on the main-stage. From releasing his debut album ‘21st Century Liability’ last year and also appearing on Festival Republic Stage last year at LEEDS FESTIVAL to appearing on Main Stage during the afternoon the following year is massive step for the twenty-two year old. YUNGBLUD’s set was definitely one of the highlights of the day so far, attracting one of the biggest crowds of the day so far at the Main Stage.

The crowd were wild during his set and really were engaging well, singing along to some of his belters… ‘ I Think I’m OKAY ‘, which he bought the one and only ‘ MACHINE GUN KELLY ‘ onto the stage with him to perform the song which was delighted by thousands of festival goers in the crowd. He also performed other tracks such as ‘ Loner ‘, ‘ Parents ‘ and ‘ Machine Gun (F**k the NRA) ‘.

His overall performance was sick and never seen a crowd this size at the time of day engage with a upcoming artist like that before, especially at a major music festival like LEEDS FESTIVAL. Dressed in stocking dress with bright pink socks and two massive pink flags on stage, ‘ YUNGBLUD ‘ for sure has one weird image but works very well with his performance which is best thing about it.

Back over on the BBC Radio 1 Stage seen one of the most upcoming bands from ‘ THE FAIM ‘ who have travelled all the way from Australia to be at READING & LEEDS FESTIVALS this weekend.

The four-piece from Perth in Australia, are consisting of ‘ Josh Raven ‘ on lead vocals, ‘ Sam Tye ‘ on guitar, ‘ Stephen Beerkens ‘ on bass and keyboards and ‘ Linden Marissen ' on drums and percussion. The band are known for their current singles ‘ Summer Is a Cure ‘, ‘ Humans ‘, ‘ Amelie ‘, ‘ Saints of The Sinners ‘, and ‘ Make Believe '. ‘ The Faim ‘ proved on stage why their one of the most upcoming current bands in the music scene right now. Definitely another band to keep a eye on. The crowd’s engagement with band was good, most of the crowd were singing back lyrics to their songs and just really having the best time ever.

Staying at the BBC Radio 1 stage, one of the hottest artists in rap in the music scene right now is taking to the stage. ‘ MACHINE GUN KELLY ‘ knew how to bring a packed-out crowd inside the BBC Radio 1 stage tent, already appearing alongside ‘ YUNGBLUD ‘ on the Main Stage, now It was his turn perform. ‘ MACHINE GUN KELLY ‘ who is from Texas in Huston, USA is only twenty-nine years old and has been rapping since 2006, since 2012 has released four studio albums with his most recent release ‘Hotel Diablo’ released this summer.

Performing some of his well-known tacks such as ‘ I Think I’m OKAY ‘, ‘ CANDY ‘, ‘ Bad Things ‘, ‘ Glass House ‘, ‘ Home ‘, and many more, proves why he is one of the hottest artists in the world right now. The engagement with the crowd was one of the best things witnessed during the first day of LEEDS FESTIVAL 2019 so far.

Now over in THE PIT tent seen ‘ PALAYE ROYALE ‘ take to the stage. Recently supporting ‘ Enter Shikari ‘ on their most recently massive UK Tour, ‘ Palaye Royale ‘ from Las Vegas, USA are consisting of ‘ Remington Leith ‘ on lead vocals, ' Sebastian Danzig ‘ on guitars and keyboards and ‘ Emerson Barnett ‘ on drums and piano. The band have been around since 2008, but during 2008-2011 they were called ‘ Kropp Circle ‘ before becoming ‘ Palaye Royale ‘.

Since 2016, they’ve released two studio albums titled “ Boom Boom Boom : Side A “ and most recently released “ Boom Boom Boom : Side B “ released last year. Some of their well known tracks include ‘ Morning Light ‘, ‘ Get Higher ‘, ‘ You’ll Be Fine ‘ and ‘ Fucking With My Head ‘. Their set seemed to go down a storm with the LEEDS FESTIVAL crowd. The band have started to make their name more in the UK over the past two years or so. Their image is great as well, and makes their performances more great. They’re definitely going the right way to performing more biggest shows eventually by themselves.

Over in the Festival Republic Stage, seen the rise of upcoming talent from Scotland’s very own ‘ THE SNUTS ‘ who are really maing the name now as a band, last year appearing on the BBC Introducing Stage to playing Festival Republic Stage is massive step. From playing at this year’s TRNSMT Festival to supporting Lewis Capaldi at Edinburgh Summer Sessions below Edinburgh Castle in Princes Street Gardens in front thousands to now playing Reading and Leeds Festivals is showing their starting to make their name now as a band.

' THE SNUTS ‘ have been releasing singles since 2017, some have been right belters for sure. Some of the singles included ‘ Seasons ‘, ‘ Glasgow ‘, ‘ What’s Going On? ‘, ‘ Manhattan Project ‘, and most recently ‘ All Your Friends ‘. The reaction in the crowd clearly shows this is a band to watch out for sure. Members of the crowd were already connecting well and singing back lyrics to their tracks which was very great moment for them.

Then we move onto London based ‘ ANTEROS ‘, formed during 2014, the four-piece consisting of ‘ Laura Hayden ‘ on vocals, ‘ Joshua Rumble ‘ on bass, ‘ Jackson Couzens ‘ on guitar and ‘ Harry Balazs ‘ on drums. Signed to Distiller Records, the four piece have already started to make a name for themselves over the past couple of years.

Releasing their debut album earlier this year ‘ When We Land ‘, the band are already making the charts and starting to prove why their a band to keep a eye on their future. They started out releasing tracks like ‘ Breakfast ‘, ‘ Blue ‘, ‘ The Beat ‘, ‘ Drunk ‘, ‘ Cherry Drop ‘, ‘ Bonnie ‘, ‘ Love ‘ and most recently ‘ Call Your Mother ‘ which has attracted a lot of people to like their music.

ANTEROS ‘ have also released three EP’s before their debut album, including their self-tilted debut EP ‘ ANTEROS ’, ‘ Breakfast ’, and ‘ DRUNK ‘ EPs. Front-lady ‘ Laura Hayden ‘ on lead vocals is definitely a stage performer from day one of her life. Every performance she does she’s always connecting and engaging well with the crowd. Jumping off stage dancing and singing the crowd to their music seems to be a great moment to witness at every show.

The crowd’s engagement with the band was fantastic and fans were singing along to their music and just enjoying the moment. ‘ ANTEROS ‘ are definitely gong somewhere for sure.

Heading back to the BBC Radio 1 Stage to catch one of Reading’s finest upcoming rock bands following in the footsteps of ‘ ARCTIC MONKEYS ‘ were ‘ THE AMAZONS ‘, who took to the stage exploding the tent with high energy as they started to play their track ‘ MOTHER ‘. ‘ The Amazons ‘ who formed during 2014, consist of ‘ Matthew Thomson ‘ on vocals and guitar, ‘ Chris Alderton ‘ on guitar, ‘ Elliot Briggs ‘ on bass and ‘ Joe Emmett ‘ on drums.

The band have released two studio albums with their debut self-tilted debut album ‘ The Amazons ‘ and most recently released sophomore album ‘ Future Dust ‘ earlier this year. They’ve also released a debut EP ‘ Don’t You Wanna ‘ during 2015 and also released a live album tilted ‘ Come the Fire, Come the Evening ‘ released last year. ‘ The Amazons ‘ are known for their belters like ‘ Black Magic ‘, ‘ In Your Mind ‘, ‘ Doubt It ‘, ‘ Fuzzy Tree ‘ and most recently ‘ Mother ‘.

Their set definitely went down a storm in BBC Radio 1 Stage tent with the Yorkshire crowd. The band are for sure definitely have a bright future ahead are following in the footsteps of ‘ ARCTIC MONKEYS ‘. The crowd engagement with the crowd was another remember-able moment of the band’s career and of the first day at LEEDS FESTIVAL 2019. Highlights of their set was probably when they performed ‘ Fuzzy Tree ‘ and ‘ Black Magic ‘ where the crowd were nuts, singing along to lyrics to the songs, moshing and dancing and some smoke flares during the songs which showed the crowd were just have the best time ever by the looks of it, was a great atmosphere for sure.

Before the headliners of each stage came on, the sub headliners were taking to the stages. ‘ A Day To Remember ‘ took to the main stage, ‘ CHVRCHES ‘ gave an energetic light-show on the BBC Radio 1 Stage, ‘ FIDLAR ‘ took the The PIT Stage and ‘ BASEMENT ‘ took the Festival Republic Stage.

A DAY TO REMEMBER ‘ set on the main-stage was their first UK show since intimate show in London for House of Vans other day and their appearance at DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL during 2017. ‘ A DAY TO REMEMBER ‘ who are an American rock band from Florida formed during 2003, consisting of ‘ Jeremy McKinnon ‘ on vocals, ‘ Neil Westfall ‘ on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, ‘ Joshua Woodard ‘ on bass, ‘ Alex Shelnut ‘ on drums and ‘Kevin Skaft ‘ on lead guitar and backing vocals.

The band have released seven studio albums since their debut album “ And Their Friends Name Was Treason “, in 2005, " For These Who Have Heart “ in 2007, “ Home Sick “ during 2009, “ What Separates Me From You “ in 2010, “ Common Courtesy “ in 2013, “ Bad Vibrations “ in 2016 and will release their seventh album “ You’re Welcome “ later this year.

A DAY TO REMEMBER ‘ are known for their tracks ‘ The Downfall of Us All ‘, ‘ All I Want ‘, ‘ It’s Complicated ‘., ‘ End of Me ‘, ‘ Bad Vibrations ‘, and most recently released single ‘ Rescue Me ‘. Most of these tracks were performed during their one-hour set in front of thousands of festival goers. The band also had privileged to open up for the mighty ‘ FOO FIGHTERS ‘ who were next on the stage for nearly a three-hour set. The engagement shown in the crowd was it was definitely worth the long wait since ‘ A DAY TO REMEMBER ‘ were last in the UK on their Bad Vibrations World Tour and their appearance at Download Festival during 2017. The band did perform exclusive intimate show at House of Vans few days ago as well which technically was first UK show since 2017.

Frontman ‘ Jeremy McKinnion ‘ was engaging well with the crowd, asking them sing, dance, jump and mosh in the crowd and course all the fans were definitely up for this for sure. ‘ A DAY TO REMEMBER ‘ are definitely now in the position where they will for sure start headlining festivals after the new album release this year.

Now back over to the BBC Radio 1 Stage, seen one of Scotland’s bet synth-pop genre bands ‘ CHVRCHES ‘ take to the stage. Formerly known as ‘ Churches ‘ when forming in 2011, until 2012, then ‘ Shark Week ‘ between July and August 2012, then becoming ‘ CHVRCHES ‘. The band consists of ‘ Lauren Mayberry ‘ on lead and backing vocals, drums, percussion, and additional synthesizers, ‘ Martin Doherty ‘ on synthesizers, samplers, backing and lead vocals and ‘ Iain Cook ‘ on synthesizers, piano, guitar, bass, and backing vocals. Since Last year, ‘ Jonny Scott ‘ has joined the band as a touring member on drums and percussion.

Since 2013, ‘ CHRVCHES ‘ have released three studio albums, their debut album ‘ The Bones of What You Believe ‘ in 2013, ‘ Every Open Eye ‘ during 2015 and most currently released album ‘ Love Is Dead ‘ during last year. They’ve also released four EPs titled, ‘ Recovery EP ‘, ‘ EP ‘ during 2013, ‘ Under the Tide EP ‘ during 2014 and ‘ Hansa Session ‘ during 2018.

The band are well known for their singles ‘ The Mother We Share ‘ which was debut single, Other singles include… ‘ Recover ‘, ‘ Gun ‘, ‘ Lies ‘, ‘ We Sink ‘, ‘ Under the Tide ‘, ‘ Leave a Trace ‘, ‘ Never Ending Circles ‘, ‘ Clearest Blue ‘, ‘ Empty Threat ‘, ‘ Bury It featuring Hayley Williams (from Paramore) ‘, ‘ Get Out ‘, ‘ My Enemy featuring Matt Berninger (from The National) ‘, ‘ Miracle ‘ and many more. - They’ve also featured on track with ‘ Eric Prydz ‘ titled ‘ Tether ‘ , track called ‘ Get Away ‘ for ‘ Drive film ‘. and also teamed up with Marshmallow for ‘ Here with Me ‘. Most of these tracks were performed during the one hour light-show on the BBC Radio 1 Stage.

The band attracted a huge crowd which packed out the tent despite the mighty ‘ FOO FIGHTERS ‘ already being on Main Stage. Fans were singing along to lyrics to the bands songs and dancing, while ‘ Lauren Mayberry ‘ and co projected a light show within the tent. Their show was definitely was a massive highlight of the day. ‘ CHVRCHES ‘ are proving why their group which could headline a future Reading and Leeds festivals in the future.

Now heading to Main Stage to watch one of the biggest rock bands in the world headline and close day one of LEEDS FESTIVAL 2019. American rockers ‘ FOO FIGHTERS ‘ from Seattle in Washington, formed during 1994, which was founded by Nirvana drummer ‘ Dave Grohl ‘ as a one-man project following the dissolution of Nirvana after the suicide of Kurt Cobain. Joining Grohl in the band, band consists of ‘ Dave Grohl ‘ on Lead Vocals and Guitar, ‘ Nate Mendel ‘ on bass, ‘ Pat Smear ‘ on guitar, backing vocals, was also a touring member and also former touring member in Nirvana along side ‘ Dave Grohl ‘, ‘ Taylor Hawkins ‘ on drums, percussion and backing vocals, ‘ Chris Shifflett ‘ on guitar and backing vocals and ‘ Rami Jaffee ‘ on keyboard and piano.

The band got it’s name from the UFOs and various aerial phenomena that were reported by Allied aircraft pilots in World War II, which were known collectively as “ Foo Fighters “.

FOO FIGHTERS ‘ have released seven studio albums since forming in 1994, with their debut self-tilted album ‘ FOO FIGHTERS ‘ being released in 1995, followed by ‘ The Colour and The Shape ‘ during 1997, ‘ There Is Nothing Left to Lose ‘ during 1999, ‘ One by One ‘ in 2002, ‘ In Your Honor ‘ in 2005, ‘ Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace ‘ during 2007, ‘ Wasting Light ‘ in 2011, ‘ Sonic Highways ‘ during 2014 and most recently released ‘ Concrete and Gold ‘ during 2017. The band have most likely started working on their forthcoming eighth studio album.

The band have collection of belters under their back catalogue, which is why their one of best rock bands in the world to see live as they always put on one hell of show and are always play long sets for nearly three hours which no other band or artist hardly does which is dedication for their fans for sure.

Some their belters include… ‘ This Is a Call ‘, ‘ Big Me ‘, ‘ Monkey Wrench ‘, ‘ Everlong ‘, ‘ My Hero ‘, ‘ Learn To Fly ‘, ‘ All My Life ‘, ‘ Times Like These ‘, ‘ Best Of You ‘, ‘ The Pretender ‘, ‘ Rope ‘, ‘ Walk ‘, ‘ Arlandria ‘, ‘ Something from Nothing ‘, ‘ Congregation ‘, ‘ Run ‘, and ‘ The Sky Is a Neighourhood ‘. Course all these track with others were performed during the long set at LEEDS FESTIVAL 2019.

As always during the ‘ FOO FIGHTERS showDave Grohl and Taylor Hakwins swap places for a song which gives fans the chance witness and experience Grohl on drums again which many fans didn’t get see when Nirvana were still about which is great experience to experience. Hakwins is also very great singer to not only does he remind you of Kurt Corbain he also does great job covering Freddie Mercury from QUEEN during ‘ Under Pressure ‘. During this performance a look-a-like of Freddie Mercury was welcomed up on the stage which was incredible moment to witness.

Of course and another random moment during performance was guy flying around Bramham Park above thousands of Foo Fighters fans on a parachute during the band’s second song ‘ Learn To Fly ‘, which front-man ‘ Dave Grohl ‘ said…. “ look at that guy up in there in the sky… we would like to dedicate this song to him “ - then says “ That man needs to come on tour with the ‘ FOO FIGHTERS ‘ “.

The band’s set also included a very intimate performance of ‘ My Hero ‘ which Grohl invited his daughter ‘ Violet ‘ on stage to perform the band’s iconic song.

Their set was full of massive energy even when they started with ‘ The Pretender ‘ and they didn’t stop for one break, no break or encore they just battled through the sweat and give the performance of their lives, and probably best performance they’ve given since their last appearance. The crowd engagement was also incredible every fan was singing to lyrics, dancing, moshing and jumping during every single song the band performed.

The band also promised to play some oldie’s in their set which they did deliver… fans were delighted to be hear likes of ‘ I Stick Around ‘, ‘ Wheels ‘, ‘ Big Me ‘ and ‘ This Is a Call ‘. - As well playing old fan favourites like ‘ All My Life ‘, ‘ Monkey Wrench ‘, ‘ Best of You ‘ , and ending their set with ‘ Everlong ‘. - They also kicked in a classic cover of ‘ Let There Be Rock ‘ by ‘ AC/DC ‘.

FOO FIGHTERS ‘ are just definitely one of the best bands ever and their set always just the best. Their set will definitely be one top highlights of the weekend and will be moment to always remember.

Headlining other stages seen ‘ ENTER SHIKARI ‘ take to THE PIT STAGE tent but were on earlier so they didn’t clash with ‘ FOO FIGHTERS ‘ on the Main Stage, over on the BBC Radio 1 Stage seen ‘ BASTILLE ‘ headline first day, and over on Festival Republic Stage seen ‘ Crystal Fighters ‘ close the stage there.

Despite playing against the mighty ‘ FOO FIGHTERS ‘, The London based four-piece ‘ BASTILLE ‘ still managed to put on massive light show in the BBC RADIO 1 STAGE in-front of packed out crowd in the tent. ‘ BASTILLE ‘ formed in 2010 with front-man ‘ Dan Smith ‘ starting as solo project before joining with band mates to create the band who they’re today. The band consists of ‘ Dan Smith ‘ on lead vocals, keyboards and piano, ‘ Kyle Simmons ‘ on piano, keyboards, backing vocals, bass and guitar, ‘ Will Farquarson ‘ on guitar, bass, backing vocals, piano and keyboards and ‘ Chris “Woody” Wood ‘ on drums, percussion, and backing vocals. ‘ Charlie Barnes ‘ also joins the band on tour playing guitar, piano, keyboards, synthesizers, backing vocals, percussion and bass.

Since 2013, ‘ BASTILLE ‘ have released three studio albums with their debut album ‘ Bad Blood ‘ being released during 2013 followed by, ‘ Wild World ‘ during 2016 and most recently released ‘ Doom Days ‘ being released this summer. The band have also released seven EP’s titled ‘ Laura Palmer EP ‘ during 2011, ‘ iTunes Festival : London 2012 EP ‘ during 2012, ‘ Haunt ‘ during 2013, ‘ Live in Mexico City ‘ during 2014, ‘ Spotify Live ‘ during 2017 and ‘ Apple Music Festival : London 2016 ‘ also during 2017. As well as releasing EP’s, the band have four mix-tape albums which sees them covering various songs by bands/artists as well some singles didn’t make the album or were for special things like the ‘ Drive film ‘ sound album for BBC Radio 1. The mix-tapes albums are titled ‘ Other People’s Heartache ‘, ‘ Other People’s Heartache, Pt. 2 ‘ both being release during 2012, ‘ VS (Other People’s Heartache, Pt. III) ‘ during 2014 and most recently released ‘ Other People’s Heartache, Pt. 4 ‘ released last year. - ‘ BASTILLE ‘ also re-released their iconic successful debut album ‘ Bad Blood ‘ which was re-titled as ‘ All This Bad Blood ‘ which included new tracks and remixes of songs on the album.

The band are known for their iconic well-know tracks such as ‘ Flaws ‘, ‘ Icarus ‘, ‘ Overjoyed ‘, ‘ Bad Blood ‘, ‘ Pompeii ‘, ‘ Laura Palmer ‘, ‘ Things We Lost in the Fire ‘, ‘ Of The Night ‘, ‘ Oblivion ‘, ‘ Good Grief ‘, ‘ Send Them off! ‘, ‘ Blame ‘, ‘ Glory ‘, ‘ I Know (with Craig David) ‘, ‘ Quarter Past Midnight ‘, ‘ Happier (with Marshmallow) ‘, ‘ Doom Days ‘, ‘ Joy ‘ and most recently released ‘ Those Nights ‘.

Most of their singles were performed during their one-hour set. The crowd engagement with the band during their song to their last song was incredible, everyone was partying and having the best time ever by the looks of it. Fans were singing along to every lyrics to their songs, moshing and jumping and front-man ‘ Dan Smith ‘ even got the crowd going telling them sing, jump ect - Their performance even seen fans outside the tent who couldn’t get in to see them which made it a very surreal moment.

The highlights of their set were during ‘ Quarter Past Midnight ‘, ‘ Happier ‘, ‘ Blame ‘ which they bought ‘ The Wombats ‘ front-man ‘ Matthew Murphy ‘ onto stage to perform with them, and also tracks like ‘ Good Grief ‘, ‘ Of The Night ‘, and ‘ Pompeii ‘ left the crowd in frenzy mood. Although probably a lot of people would have preferred no one on against the ‘ FOO FIGHTERS ‘, ‘ BASTILLE ‘ still managed to attract a massive crowd to watch them which proves why their potentially a upcoming headline band at the festival in the future. With confetti, pyro, smoke and projection light show shows why it was great atmosphere and performance.

Overall the first day of LEEDS FESTIVAL 2019 was a great success and fans can be delighted by more great music during the second and third days of this year’s festival.
