Kicking off the evening was local band Remind Me Of Home who played a selection of tracks off latest EP 'Bloodless' and were a great fit for the show, with a modern sound and great songs to match.

Up next was Lizzy Farrall who had recently released her new EP 'All I Said Was Never Heard'. Playing a chilled out set, she was backed up by two acoustic guitars and sounded excellent, with Lizzy showcasing her vast vocal range throughout the set. With the EP being released early in the year I expect Lizzy to be popping up on tours throughout 2018.

Things started to heat up again when Glasgow pop punk band Woes took to the stage however and the crowd proved they were definitely up for the party. Bringing some new songs like 'Losing Time' and recently released 'Real World' backed up by older bangers like 'Tight af', the band sound very tight and vocal harmonies were on point. Reaching the middle of the set, frontman DJ advised the crowd they are known to drop a ridiculous cover song when touring and kicked into a shortened, but very entertaining rendition of 'Last Resort' originally by Papa Roach. Finishing with their single 'Worst Friend', the band exit the stage to a huge cheer. Recently signing to UNFD and the promise of a new release very soon, Woes are a band that are about to take on 2018 in a big way.

With anticipation growing, finally Seaway take to the stage and the whole venue kicks off with them. Their set was everything you want from a pop punk set, with a band on top form and crowd surfers and stage dives galore. Playing a set consisting mainly of songs off newest release 'Vacation' and previous album 'Colour Blind', their set is energetic and full of charisma. Frontman Ryan Locke, sporting a Hawaiin style shirt and sunglasses, and guitarist Patrick Carleton trade vocal parts effortlessly and get the crowd involved too. New songs like 'Apartment', 'Lula on the Beach' and recently released single 'London' sound excellent and get the singalong they deserve, and older songs like 'Best Mistake' and 'Slam' spark even more chaos. Closing off with older track 'Sabrina the Teenage Bitch' Seaway prove exactly why they have some hype around them at the moment and deserve the recognition they have been receiving.
