With anticipation growing, finally Seaway take to the stage and the whole venue kicks off with them. Their set was everything you want from a pop punk set, with a band on top form and crowd surfers and stage dives galore. Playing a set consisting mainly of songs off newest release 'Vacation' and previous album 'Colour Blind', their set is energetic and full of charisma. Frontman Ryan Locke, sporting a Hawaiin style shirt and sunglasses, and guitarist Patrick Carleton trade vocal parts effortlessly and get the crowd involved too. New songs like 'Apartment', 'Lula on the Beach' and recently released single 'London' sound excellent and get the singalong they deserve, and older songs like 'Best Mistake' and 'Slam' spark even more chaos. Closing off with older track 'Sabrina the Teenage Bitch' Seaway prove exactly why they have some hype around them at the moment and deserve the recognition they have been receiving.
