Originally formed in 2009 at the University of Leeds, To Kill a King are a band that have worked hard on their music. With various line-ups over the years their sound has evolved into the indie rock we hear today, but what grabs you are the catchy choruses that will having you singing along for days!

On a freezing cold night where it was snowing outside a modest crowd had braved the elements to head to the Brudnell Social Club, all standing towards the back of the room, I wasn’t expecting much of an atmosphere but as soon as they started playing their first song "Bloody Shirt" from their First EP "My Crooked Saint" in 2011 the whole audience moved forward and the buzz began. Powering through an impressive 18 song setlist, the band showed why they continue to be popular and support some big bands such as "Bastille".

Playing songs from all 6 of their EP's, including their newest offering "The Spiritual Dark Age", the fans in the audience were treated to a show packed full of emotion, fun and talent.

To Kill A King are continuing their European tour throughout February and March.
