Breakout 29 year old singer songwriter Calum Scott released his new album "Only Human" on 9th March 2018. Calum first appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2015, and then released his version of Robyn's hit "Dancing On My Own", which reached number 2 on the UK singles chart. This was a huge kick start to his career and has got him to where he is now.
The new album "Only Human" is 14 tracks long and consists of the same ballad tunes we have already heard from Scott, which he knows his fans love. One of my personal favourites on the album is "Rhythm Inside". This song is more upbeat compared to his other work and with a thumping bassline and catchy lyrics, it brings a bit of happiness to the album.
"You Are the Reason" is an emotionally resonant piano ballad which is sure to pull at your heart strings. The song has messages about relationships, difficult times, and sticking by the people that you need. Scott once said, "I wrote this song to say thank you to those special people who make our lives better, simply because they're in it."
Over all, the album is full of heart felt songs with relatable messages in each and every one. Scott has worked hard on the album and it's paId off as he's on the rise.
