The Story So Far & Movements pull out of Slam Dunk Festival 2021!

The Story So Far & Movements pull out of Slam Dunk Festival 2021!

Due to prior commitments, unfortunately both The Story So Far and Movements will no longer be able to perform at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival.

Both bands had previously confirmed to perform at Sad Summer Fest, which due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has shifted its originally scheduled dates which now overlap with Slam Dunk Festival.

The organisers of Slam Dunk Festival also had this to say about it.

“We are sorry to announce that due to Sad Summer Festival in the US being rescheduled, The Story So Far and Movements are no longer able to make it over for Slam Dunk Festival in September.

Like us, Sad Summer have had to reschedule multiple times due to the pandemic, and this has caused the unfortunate clash. We as a festival, and all the bands on the line-up, are confident in a return to international travel and touring by September and we will be announcing more line-up additions over the summer. Thank you all for sticking with us as we finally navigate our way out of this dark time!”

This year’s Slam Dunk Festival will take place on September 4th 2021 at Temple Newsam, Leeds and on September 5th 2021 at Hatfield Park, Hatfield.

Tickets from last year’s cancelled event will be honoured and remain valid for 2021.

Remaining tickets are on sale now with a range of payment plans, and can be purchased online from seetickets.com.
