From the swathes of light sticks in the crowd, it’s clear that the dedicated Stray Kids Fans are out in force today to see their favourite K-Pop superstars.

The anticipation broke like a fever as a blood-red tapestry emblazoned with “Stray Kids” fell away to reveal the 8 members of the band.

Immediately the group set out to prove why they are one of the largest names in the K-Pop genre. With intricate vocals paired alongside a heavy backing band which created a rich sound throughout. Complimenting the musical prowess was the group's electric stage presence and elegant choreography. Any time Stray Kids broke into these complex dance routines the fans were ecstatic, cheering loud enough to briefly drown out the booming speakers.

Songs such as “S-Class” and “TOPLINE” displayed the band's ability to blend traditional pop vocal styles with hip-hop stylings and powerful choruses.

Throughout the evening the band had impeccable charisma, managing to make the expansive Hyde Park venue feel intimate. Their stagecraft was particularly evident as the group reached the end of their set, during which they hyped up the crowd repeatedly by asking them if they wanted one more song. To which the viewers of course chanted yes, and did so again when asked the same after that song.

The band bid farewell to the massed crowd, praising their fans for their passion which had been so clearly on display. From the energy still in the crowd, it’s clear they would be happy for the group to play on for hours and that they will rush to any future dates to see their favourite K-Pop icons.
