Sunday brought what seemed like the largest crowds of the weekend, all eager to witness Calvin Harris close out the festival in style. Although the day began with more rain, the weather improved, managing to stay mostly dry for the grand finale. The anticipation built throughout the day as fans arrived in droves, filling Glasgow Green to capacity. The combination of high-energy performances and the promise of Harris’s electrifying set ensured that the final day would be one to remember, as festival-goers soaked up the last moments of an incredible weekend. 

CMAT's set at TRNSMT was a delightful way to kick off the festival. Her unique blend of humour, catchy tunes, and heartfelt lyrics set her apart as a fresh voice in the indie scene. Opening with "I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby!" she immediately captivated the audience with her quirky personality and infectious energy. Her witty banter between songs added a personal touch, making the crowd feel like they were part of an intimate gig rather than a large festival. CMAT’s performance was a testament to her growing reputation as a must-see live act.

Kingfishr took the stage with an exuberant energy that was impossible to resist. Their infectious indie-pop anthems had the crowd dancing and singing along from the first chord. The band's tight chemistry and polished sound were evident in every song. Highlights included "Under the Streetlights" and "Lights On," which had the audience waving their hands and belting out the lyrics. The lead singer's charismatic presence and the band's overall enthusiasm made their set a memorable experience, perfectly capturing the vibrant spirit of the festival.

Sprints brought an edge to TRNSMT with their gritty, punk-infused rock. From the moment they launched into their set, it was clear that they were here to make a statement. Their raw sound and unrelenting energy had the crowd headbanging and moshing throughout. "Manifesto" and "Little Fix" stood out as explosive highlights, with the lead singer’s fierce vocals and commanding stage presence driving the performance. Sprints' unapologetic attitude and powerful delivery left a lasting impression, marking them as a band to watch.

Alison Goldfrapp’s performance was a dazzling display of electro-glam brilliance. She transformed the stage into a glittering wonderland, with her ethereal vocals soaring over pulsating beats and lush synths. The set was a visual and auditory spectacle, featuring elaborate costumes and mesmerising light shows. "Rocket" and "Ooh La La" were particular standouts, with the crowd dancing and singing along to every word. Goldfrapp's ability to blend elegance with a touch of surrealism created a magical atmosphere that transported the audience to another world.

Blossoms delivered a pitch-perfect performance that showcased why they are one of the leading bands in the modern indie rock scene. Their set was filled with catchy melodies and polished arrangements that had the crowd singing along from start to finish. Opening with "Your Girlfriend," the band set the tone for a feel-good set, with "Charlemagne" serving as a euphoric high point. The band's tight musicianship and the lead singer's engaging stage presence made for a seamless performance. Blossoms’ ability to connect with the audience and deliver hit after hit solidified their status as festival favourites.

Nova Twins delivered a powerhouse performance at TRNSMT 2024. The duo, Amy Love and Georgia South, brought their signature blend of punk, rock, and grime to the stage, captivating the audience from start to finish. Their bold, eclectic fashion and dynamic stage presence immediately drew everyone in. As they launched into hits like "Taxi" and "Cleopatra," the crowd erupted, dancing and singing along with fervour. The energy was electric, with each song showcasing their raw, unfiltered sound and intense musicality. Their banter between songs and expressions of gratitude created a warm, intimate atmosphere amidst the high-energy chaos. In all, Nova Twins’ set at TRNSMT 2024 was an unforgettable experience. Their innovative sound, combined with their electrifying stage presence and visual flair, made for a standout performance that left fans buzzing long after the final chord.

Tom Grennan's soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics resonated deeply with the TRNSMT audience. His set was a masterclass in emotional storytelling, with Grennan pouring his heart into every song. "Little Bit of Love" and "Found What I’ve Been Looking For" were standout moments, with the crowd swaying and singing along passionately. Grennan's charismatic stage presence and genuine interaction with the audience created an intimate atmosphere, despite the large festival setting. Taking some time off the stage to mingle with the crowd and proudly don a Scotland Flag was a memorable moment for fans who had waited to see him. His ability to blend vulnerability with powerful vocals made his performance a standout of the day.

Chase and Status brought an electrifying dose of drum and bass to TRNSMT, transforming the festival into a massive dance party. Their set was a non-stop barrage of heavy beats and basslines that had the crowd jumping and dancing from start to finish. Tracks like "Blind Faith" and "End Credits" showcased their ability to blend genres and create an infectious energy. Brining out special guests such as Clementine Douglas and Ethan, the duo's impressive production and light and fire show added to the intensity, making their performance a thrilling highlight of the festival. Their ability to keep the crowd's energy levels high was truly impressive and defiantly got everyone raring to go for headliner Calvin Harris. 

Enter Shikari's performance was an exhilarating, genre-defying spectacle. Known for their eclectic sound and high-energy shows, they did not disappoint. The band delivered a politically charged, adrenaline-fuelled set that had the crowd in a frenzy. "The Last Garrison" and "Live Outside" showcased their ability to blend electronic, rock, and hardcore elements seamlessly. The lead singer’s dynamic stage presence and impassioned delivery kept the energy levels sky-high. Their innovative approach to music and live performance made them one of the most exciting acts of the festival.

Calvin Harris, the Scottish DJ and producer, delivered an electrifying performance at TRNSMT 2024, solidifying his reputation as a festival favourite. Performing a continuous two-hour set, Harris ensured the energy never dipped from the moment he took to the stage until the final beat dropped.

From the outset, the visuals were nothing short of spectacular. The stage was transformed into a vibrant canvas of lights, lasers, and intricate graphics that perfectly complemented Harris's music. Each track was accompanied by stunning visual effects, creating an immersive experience for the audience. The combination of pulsating lights and giant LED screens brought an added layer of excitement, making the performance a feast for the eyes as well as the ears.

Harris's set was a seamless blend of his biggest hits and newer tracks, expertly mixed to maintain a high level of intensity throughout. Fans were treated to classics like "Summer," "Feel So Close," and "One Kiss," each one met with roars of approval and mass sing-alongs. The energy was palpable, with the crowd dancing non-stop, fuelled by Harris's infectious beats and the undeniable festival atmosphere.

Midway through his set, Harris took a brief moment to announcing the score of the much-anticipated Spain vs England match. This timely update was met with cheers and added a unique, communal aspect to the evening. It was a small gesture, but it showcased Harris's awareness and appreciation for his audience's interests beyond the music.

Calvin Harris's TRNSMT 2024 performance was a masterclass in live DJing, combining exceptional musicality with breathtaking visuals. His ability to sustain a high-energy atmosphere over a two-hour set is a testament to his skill and experience as a performer. The crowd left buzzing, already looking forward to the next time they can experience such a phenomenal show. Harris once again proved why he is one of the most sought-after acts on the festival circuit.

TRNSMT 2024 was a resounding success, offering three days of exceptional music, diverse performances, and an unparalleled festival atmosphere. From the sunny opening day to the drizzly yet spirited Saturday, and finally, the grand finale on Sunday, the festival showcased the very best of live music against the vibrant backdrop of Glasgow Green. Despite the varied weather, the enthusiasm and energy of the crowds never waned. Each day was highlighted by unforgettable performances, especially those of the headliners, that truly set the festival apart. 

Liam Gallagher ended Friday with a swaggering, high-energy set that transported fans back to the glory days of Britpop. With classic Oasis anthems like "Wonderwall" and mixed with his solo hits, Gallagher had the crowd singing along in unison, their voices echoing through the park. His charismatic stage presence and powerful vocals set a high bar for the weekend.

Gerry Cinnamon took the stage on Saturday night, delivering a performance that was both heartfelt and electrifying. Despite the drizzle, his hometown fans were out in full force, buzzing with anticipation. Cinnamon's raw, acoustic-driven songs resonated deeply with the audience, turning Glasgow Green into a sea of voices. Tracks like "Belter" and "Sometimes" created an intimate yet explosive atmosphere, with fans swaying and singing along passionately, proving the undeniable connection between the artist and his supporters.

Calvin Harris closed the weekend on Sunday in the most memorable way. The Scottish DJ and producer transformed the festival into a massive outdoor dance party with his continuous two-hour set. Despite early rain, the weather held steady, allowing the visuals and lights to shine brilliantly against the night sky. Harris’s performance was a non-stop barrage of hits, including "Summer," "Feel So Close," and "One Kiss," each track igniting the crowd’s energy. His announcement of the Spain vs England score added a unique touch, connecting with the audience beyond the music. The grand finale, with fireworks and laser shows, left festival-goers in awe, ending TRNSMT 2024 on a high note.
