The outspoken hardcore trio are never afraid to make their statement heard on political and social issues that are currently plaguing the world. Their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Strength In Numb333rs’ tries to tackle many of these issues.

The trio have years of experience, vocalist Jason Butler was formally the front man of letlive, theses former the Chariot guitarist Stephen Harrison and Night Verses drummer Aric Improta so I was certainly in for a show.

Arriving at the venue there was signs on wall the walls suggesting that fans ‘talk amongst themselves on sensitive topic in a safe space’ due to no support acts for the show. This allowed the sold-out venue to fill to capacity pretty quickly.

Calling a show, a demonstration sets the mood for the night straight away and tonight was everything I expected.

With a white curtain covering the stage the music began then red and blue lights mimicking police lights as the intro to ‘Made in America’ played. The lights brightened and the curtain dropped, Butler screamed to the crowd ‘Get the F**K up Leeds.’ Butler was jumping and pacing side to side like a mad man while screaming. Harrison was exactly the same running side to side in between swinging his guitar around and jumping.

With the floor shaking the carnage continued with ‘Only One’ which had Butler on the floor screaming into the microphone. ‘Animal’ and ‘Tigger’ had Harrison spinning all the way throughout. However, there was a brief moment for a breather during ‘Inglewood/3’ as well as during a stripped back version of ‘Am I Here?’

Throughout the set the crowd was reminded that it was a safe space and there was always a positive message with each track. ‘One of us’ was dedicated to all the women in audience with Butler reminding the crowd to respect all women.

Burn it had many members of the audience crowd surfing to this while the rest bounced about. Within seconds of the trio leaving the stage chants of ‘333, 333, 333’ began and within seconds they came back to play ‘We’re Coming In’ and the Innocent.

This has been one of the best shows I’ve ever been to the atmosphere was insane, I was impressed with each member as they clearly know what they’re doing. Some moments that stuck out were during the intro to ‘Walking in My Shoes’ while still on the balcony by the sound desk someone in the crowd said “jump!” Jason replied saying ‘Whoever said that get the F**k here and catch me’ before throwing himself into the crowd.

There’s a Fever coming? No, the Fever is here! Get your tickets while you can as there’s something about the trio that can’t be missed.
