Feeder were formed in Newport, Wales but little did they know that 21 years later they would be celebrating that anniversary with a top 10 album of their greatest hits and a fantastic 8 date tour to go along side it. Between 1997-2012, Feeder accumulated 25 top 75 singles, they have also headlined many of the United Kingdom's major venues and in 2005 headlined Download Festival. Nobody can argue that this band have a huge amount of success and a brilliant back catalogue to work from. Tonight they walked on stage with a comfort and unassuming ease, they have never been a bouncing, flashy stage presence, but that doesn't mean their shows aren't spectacular. Getting the chance to hear songs such as "Insomnia" and "Buck Rogers" live is a great experience and it shows that to matter how many times they play them, they enjoy the reaction from the crowd. Lead singer Grant Nicholas spends a lot of the night smiling, but why wouldn’t he, there from the beginning he has written every song on that Greatest Hits album and he is enjoying how well it is being received. The crowd are going wild and loving seeing these guys bring their favourite songs back to life once more. If you are still wondering if it's worth heading out to see them again then believe me it is, even if you only go along to see Taka's bass playing which is in a whole league of its own.
