On the concluding night of their debut Scottish tour, Glasgow-based band Easy brought the party to a packed, animated crowd. With enough funk and passionate energy to have everyone - and I mean everyone – dancing all night long, these guys put on one hell of a show.

As the band appeared adorning holiday-themed Hawaiian outfits on a stage filled with exuberant props and fairy lights, it was hard to look away for even a second of the set. However an eye-popping stage setup wasn’t the only thing to credit this band with – their songs displayed a tightness and maturity throughout the entire set that utterly impressed the vibrant crowd. Each member of the band displays a unique and incredible amount of talent, which is instrumental to the complexity of their quirky songs. The instrumentalists are solely responsible for giving the band that little edge on any sort of competition.

Their new single ‘Bringin’ Me Down’ is the perfect blend of the indie/funk-infused sound Easy have to offer and had everyone singing and dancing along, as well as other fan favourites such as ‘Spice Boys’. As the entire room demanded an encore at the end of the set, members of the crowd stormed the stage as the gig developed into somewhat of a party, and I’m sure everyone would’ve had the band jam for much, much longer.

This band have the style, swagger and sound to really make a name for themselves in the scene, and with such a contagious energy felt from the band you’d be crazy to miss out seeing these five incredibly, talented men. As they plan more releases and an even more impressive set of tour dates in the near future, be on the look-out for an Easy party coming to a venue near you.
