This energy only increased when Ratboy began to perform, shortly after. The crowd was insane, populated with mostly youngsters, with constant mosh pits and dancing. He played a good mix of his songs with both new and old ones, opening with one of his early singles ‘MOVE’. Featuring throughout the performance were crowd pleasers from his 2017 album “SCUM”, such as ‘LAIDBACK’ and ‘FAKE ID’ as well as new tracks from his most recent album “CIVIL DISORDER” which was released just last week.
Ratboy last made an appearance in Glasgow supporting Liam Gallagher, which I was lucky enough to see, however I can confidently say he was much better at headlining. He had the entire venue bouncing with his indie-rock, hip-hop infused songs. It was mental, in a great way.
