WOLF ALICE PLAY DUNDEE'S FAT SAMS AHEAD OF NEW ALBUM RELEASE

WOLF ALICE PERFORMING AT DUNDEE'S FAT SAMS - 18/08/2017

★★★★★

Wolf Alice are in the middle of a UK tour and stopped off in Dundee to perform. They are a four-piece alternative rock band from North London, they formed as a two-person band in 2010. Its members since 2012 are Ellie, Joff Oddie, Theo Ellis, and Joel Amey. The band is back on the road with many sold-out dates up and down the country.

Ellie and co... are having local acts for each concert as their support. For the Dundee show they had The Van T’s performing. All support act details can be found on their social media pages for upcoming gigs. The band supporting the Dundee performance recently performed at the new Scottish festival Carnival 56.

The Van T’s have already enjoyed widespread praise from blogs and radios. This acclaim has spread with their music played on France and the US radios. They have performed at a few popular festivals across the UK recently and in Dundee they happily performed to a more intimate audience. They had a great set which of course was great start to the evening.  With only one support act it meant that The Van T’s could play a longer set and could enjoy their time on the stage.

Wolf Alice have released the third track from their upcoming album. This one is titled ‘Beautifully Unconventional’. This album is being released on September 29th later this year. With some tracks already being premiered on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show the album is set to do well. Having just completed a sold-out USA tour Wolf Alice must be enjoying the tour life as they are not stopping yet. You can catch the band performing on many other dates throughout the next few months.

The atmosphere was amazing as expected with such talented and outgoing band members. When they walked on stage you could tell everyone was so excited as many fans had loved the band for ages. Many fans were turning up in their previous tour merchandise ready to support the band once again.

Throughout the performance the crowd continued to enjoy all the well-known tracks and new singles from the upcoming album. I have genuinely never been in Fat Sams night club with that many people the place was full, it was brilliant. Everyone was purely there to enjoy the music.
