Glass Caves had two support acts: Astral Suns, Kashmir Crows. Astral Suns is a rock band from Glenrothes, Fife. The new on the scene band are producing awesome material along with some classic covers! Formed in 2012 though meeting in college and finding mutual interest in music. They later on decided to expand with a second guitarist for a more complete sound and Taylor joined in 2016 to fill that space.

The Kashmir Crows performed next and they are Dundee’s new up and coming band. Kashmir Crows' multiple genres merge together to create an original, distinctive and expressive sound. Having just formed at the beginning of 2016, Kashmir Crows have already made a dent in the Scottish music scene especially with a winning performance at the 'STV Biggest Cheer' competition. Their two upcoming tours are being planned and their debut music video for 'Fever' is in post-production.

You will often find Glass Caves on a street corner in cities like York, Leeds, Manchester or Sheffield. Originally buskers in the process of growing their audience from by playing long hours on the streets and pushing sales of new singles and gig tickets. Seeing them perform onstage shows you the band’s passion and allows you to appreciate their performance and how they are so motivated. All their songs depict a more soulful vibe, with the main idea being to align great pop melodies with songs that reflect the current state of the nation. Being picked for ‘Band of the Week’ on Skiddle and picked up by legendary producer Tim Palmer.

Glass Caves quickly became a word of mouth phenomenon and are of course performing at many venues and festivals this year which is a great follow up to their love of busking, with the only difference being a bigger crowd. After speaking to the band at the end of the setlist they mentioned during the tour they will be busking in places like Edinburgh and Glasgow. They talked about how it is so competitive within the industry and even busking, it is almost a competition to get a space on the street in popular areas. Matt Hallas, singer, mentioned that before their first busk they practiced for 3 hours, they were extremely nervous. Performing, now seems natural to them. They are clearly use to the atmosphere and performing with each other.

The tour follows the April 7th release of the wonderful 'Swim' as follow-up single to 'Do you have a name'. 'Swim' is a new tune suggesting a departure from the 'indie rock' vibe of their first album, towards a fuller, more mature and accomplished sound. Their new single was last on the setlist though 'Swim' still retains the passion and ambition like other favourites such as 'Alive' or 'Do you Have a Name'.
