Opening the show tonight we have Seth Lakeman. With his folky one man band style, his sound comes across great in the beautiful setting of the Armadillo. Being just himself onstage, Lakeman plays an array of instruments ranging from the guitar to the viola. Set highlight comes with last song "Kitty Jay" which utilises his effects pedals to create a foot stomping end to his set.

The lights drop and "Be My Woman" plays over the PA. Robert Plant And The Sensational Space Shifters take to the stage and one thing is immediately clear, they came to have a good time. All members of the band play with a huge smile on their face, clearly enjoying their performance.

"The May Queen" showcases their newest release "Carry Fire" before Plant tells us "Here's one of the old songs from when we used to dream in colour" and they launch into an amazing rendition of Led Zeppelin's "That's The Way". Plant's vocals are still so strong, it sounds just like it did during the original Zeppelin shows way back.

We're treated to a cover of Richard and Linda Thompson's "House of Cards" which goes down well with the audience, before "Carry Fire" shows off more of the bands own material. It's almost Egyptian esque guitar line works well with Plant's phenomenal vocals. Then comes a highlight of the night, with a superb run through of old Zeppelin favourite "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You"

The covers theme continues with the band delivering their own take on Bukka White's "Fixin' To Die" with one audience member commenting how they could listen to them play it on repeat all day.

The main set is closed with Zeppelin's "Misty Mountain Hop" and with the rapturous applause from the crowd, the band will surely be back on.

They appear back onstage again for an encore of Zeppelin's "What Is And What Should Never Be", their own "Red Dress" and then the grand finale of "Whole Lotta Love" which has the whole room on their feet.

"Thanks a lot for coming out, we'll see you when we get famous" chuckles Plant as he leaves the stage. Overall, this performance was outstanding!
