Zara Larsson brings her world tour to UK this month, after winning Sweden's version of "... Got Talent" TV series nearly a decade ago, Larsson has risen to the top of the charts across the world and work hard to make her name with her bouncy electro-pop music sounds. At only 19 years old, she's smart and very outspoken. We were expecting very good things from her first ever performance in Scotland.
Larsson walks condidently onto the stage, walking to centre stage spot to be greeted by a upbeaat, eagerly awaiting young audience and opens with her well-known track "Never Forget You". From the first track, the audience knew every word of every track during the entire performance. Just from first moment Larsson's presence working on stage, the crowd were in hysteria that she was just on there. Zara Larsson's set just got better... debuting songs from her debut album 'Lush Life' for first time in Scotland this evening marked a milestone. It was a celebratory affair and throughout we were constantly reminded of her power as a artist, she can sing and dance while effortlessly commanding a crowd and keeping them

Larsson's set included a live-band and were playing songs like 'Don't Let Me Be Yours' a song which was co-written by Ed Sheeran. Despite sending the crowd wild, this transition didn’t seem necessary to me; Larsson is a strong enough performer without sonically quoting her co-writers. For myself the shining spotlight on these artists like Zarrson seemed like a way of self-validation and was another way to try earn credibility; standing out like songs such as "So Good" didn't need Ty Dollar $ign's part subbed in on a backing track. Another Hits aside, songs such as "I Can’t Fall In Love Without You" exhibited a sense of vulnerability that Zara Larsson rarely displays, and, with a lighter arrangement, offered a refreshing take on - and much-needed break from - Larsson’s pulsing pop, and "Lush Life", the title track from her debut LP, which is a anthem big closer.
