One of the biggest and highest-grossing tour history finally arrives on European and UK soil tonight as one and only ‘Taylor Swift’ finally kicks off her European and UK leg of ‘The Eras: World Tour’ tonight in Paris for first four sold-out performances. As you can probably tell, Thousands of hardcore lucky fans have flocked to the La Defense days before the concert was due to happen for a prime spot and to be able to be the first get hold of merchandise as soon possible which went on sale yesterday (24 hours before the concert). It has been reported first early fans have camped as early as Tuesday to ensure they got a prime spot in the standing section. This will also be first performance of The Eras World Tour which has seen standing as most recent Asia, Australian/New Zealand, South America and North America legs have all been seated including on the normal floor sections around the stage.

One lucky fan said "I didn't plan to, but I came to check it out and I saw the first tents and I panicked a little,"

Another said “They’re seeing all four Paris concerts…. and used nearly 22 email addresses to get through the lottery system and secured the tickets”.

Also been noticed many accents going through early superfans have been American. The venue have reported a fifth of the audience for all four shows have came from The United States to see these shows which speculates a lot of American fans will be touring with Taylor across Europe and United Kingdom to see the superstar on stage. A fan called “Georg’Ann Daly’ decided to celebrate her 23rd birthday with the show tonight in Paris. It meant flying from Taylor Swift’s hometown of Nashville to Chicago to London and the catching the Eurostar to Paris. Which definitely crazy experience. She told one reporter “I’ve always been obsessed with Taylor Swift”. “I went to her show in Nashville and thought I’m never doing that again because it was crazy. It’s a lot of over stimulation and I have social anxiety.” , “But It’s my birthday and It’s Paris and it’s the first night of the European and UK Tour, and I thought why Not? It’s so worth it.”

It has been reported nearly 42,000 people will see Taylor Swift in Paris before she heads on for dates in Sweden, Portugal, Spain, UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria from till August. It’s safe to say all European and UK swifties especially Paris ones who will be excited to see if songs from Taylor Swift’s new album “The Tortured Poets Society” which was released last month will be performed during this leg of Eras World Tour. It has been heavily rumoured setlist will be extended to include the eras from Swift. Fans predicting her setlist will extend to 46 songs in total will be near 3 and half hours on stage which will be impressive and shows why Taylor Swift is one most hardworking artists and performers in the music industry today.

Although fans maybe excited to hear brand new music from the recent released album, many critics have been very critical about the 31-track album as “bloated” and “very lacking in sure-fire hits” which you would normally expect from Taylor Swift, but certainly expected you won’t have same opinions of fans who forked our hundreds or even thousands of euros and pounds to be at one or even more than one shows of European Leg of The Eras World Tour. One fan who has travelled from Kentucky in USA said "I love the new album -- it's chill, it's fun to listen to even though it's got a sadder vibe," , “I hope she plays Fortnight.” she added.

It safe to say her popularity shows no sign of dimming anytime soon and the new album has already shifted 1.4 million copies worldwide on the first day of it’s release and also broke every streaming record going, reaching a billion streams on Spotify within first five days of it’s release.

Swift’s tell all dissections of her romantic love stories have been the fuel powering her global domination, and fans have been pouring over "The Tortured Poets Department" for cryptic clues about Joe Alwyn, her short-but-dramatic fling with Matty Healy (lead singer of The 1975), and her current partner, American football star Travis Kelce.

"Taylor talks about toxic relationships, impossible love, politics, mental health, and so much more -- I think we can all find a song that resonates with our experiences," said Chris as she waited by her tent for the big moment.

Ahead of Taylor Swifts three sold-out performances at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium in Scotland next month on June 9th, 10th and 11th, a Glasgow College has set-up a class for 'non-Swifties'. It was said it was class for those who wouldn't know Matty Healy from Jake Gyllenhaal, Glasgow Clyde College held a crash course in Swiftie-isms.

Glasgow Clyde College said:

“Because she has such a diverse catalogue, she does have something to offer a very wide range of people,” the college’s Swiftie expert, Carla McCormack told STV News.

“So even if people aren’t passive Swifties, they want to be there – they want to see it and experience it for themselves.

“People who have come along to the class tonight, hopefully they’ve learnt something and left feeling a bit more excited and really ready for the tour.”

Around 30 people attended the course at the college’s Langside Campus, and picked up some top tips on how to survive the three-hour extravaganza – from set lists and keeping up with the infamous Eras tour crowd chants, to outfit inspiration. A specialist make-up artist showed attendees how to achieve some of Swift’s most iconic looks – including the bright red lip she’s known for.

Ms McCormack also delivered an extensive lecture on Swift’s love life, and how each fling, break up and controversial relationship informed each one of her ‘Eras’. One attendee said their main takeaway from the masterclass was that Swift “has a lot of drama”. While another, who will be chaperoning four children to a concert this June, said he felt the masterclass was “about getting the full value – because you’re going to an experience, and [Swiftie knowledge] will enhance that”.

Robert Anderson, curriculum assistant principal at Glasgow Clyde College previously said: “Taylor mania doesn’t seem to be slowing anytime soon, and we expect it’ll reach its peak here in Scotland in June.

“We understand that not everyone will be up to speed on all things Taylor and might not get the full Eras experience.

“That’s why we created this course – to prepare those who’ll be heading along to the gig with their superfan kids, friends or partners to ensure they have just as memorable a time. Taylor’s gigs are known for being so well crafted, and unless you’re a fan yourself, you might miss some of the iconic moments.

“Our expert will take you through everything you need to know – leaving you a Swiftie in no time.”

It was reported across the capital ahead of Edinburgh shows, Taylor Swift fans face being charged £1,600 a NIGHT for hotels during the pop superstar's concerts in Edinburgh. Which is really crazy price for hotels like being in London. Many fans might choose to stay in hotels in Glasgow, Fife and surrounding areas of Edinburgh to try keep the cost down or simply just camp outside the stadium which widely expected to happen by many fans. Most likely be fans camping out during the shows to just try get prime spot for next show following day. Which will course be far those who weren’t attending previous show to try get chance of being near the front for the next show.

Ahead of the UK shows it now been reported gates to stadiums will open thirty minutes early instead of 4.30pm gates will now open at 4pm on the dot. Also been reported that Edinburgh Council granted organisers permission to increase the stadium’s capacity from 67,130 to 72,990 for all three shows which allowed further tickets to go on sale which were snatched up in seconds. Fans have made aware of ticket fraudsters ahead of the show who have already made thousands out of fans who thought were purchasing the real deal. Fans have been advised to only purchased from confirmed ticket sellers and genuine ticket resale platforms such as Ticketmaster and Twickets.
