American rockers ‘Death Cab For Cutie’ are set to play Glasgow’s O2 Academy on Saturday evening.

Death Cab For Cutie announced in June last year that they will tour the UK and Europe during January and February 2019 in support of their brand new album ‘Thank You For Today’ which is due for release on Friday 17th August 2019 this summer. The american rockers UK Tour kicks off in Dublin this evening (24th January) before heading to Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham, Leeds, Bristol and ending in London at Eventim Apollo on 1st February, before heading to Europe to play shows in Paris, Antwerp, Utrecht, Cologne, Berin, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Stockholm and finishing up in Oslo on 12th February 2019.

Following the announcement of the brand new album ‘Thank You For Today’, Death Cab For Cutie have unveiled the video for their first single “Gold Rush" from new album, which was directed by Alex Southam (alt-j, Mumford & Sons). DCFC have then went onto release two more singles “I Dreamt We Spoke Again” and “Autumn Love” in run up to the new album. There’s more music expected in coming months.
