BMTH kicked off their exclusive set with their new single 'MANTRA' which gave fans who were lucky of enough to be in packed-out tent a chance to witness some new music from their new album 'AMO' due for release next year. Back over to the Main-Stage just in time for the most-talked appearance of the weekend. Post Malone was due on stage to belter out his massive hit singles. Attracting the biggest crowd of the weekend, thousands after thousands appeared from no where to catch Post Malone's set on the main-stage. Following the rumours that the man might not appear due to his accident few weeks ago involving him on a plane, Post Malone did make the trip over the Atlantic to be at Reading and Leeds Festivals at the weekend as planned.
Appearing on stage, the crowd excitement was amazing, thousands of people just went in massive frenzy for Post Malone and it was really epic and highlight moment of 2018 festival weekend.
Post Malone kicked off his epic set with 'Too Young' followed by 'Better Now' and 'Psycho' his tracks went down delight with crowd, his set just got even better.. Malone went onto play further fan favourites such as 'Rockstar', 'I Fall Apart', 'Candy Paint, 'Stay' and more tracks off debut album 'Stoney' and his recent release 'beerbongs & bentleys'. Following one of the biggest sets of the weekend so far, we went to check some more upcoming talent back over at Festival Republic tent, with performances from Dream Wife and Hudson Taylor.
Dream Wife who are making massive successful early career so far, had packed-out tent watching their performance. Earlier this year the three-piece rockers were out supporting The Vaccines around the UK, including massive performance at London's Alexandra Palace. The band's set went down by delighting festival goers with their pop-punk rock sounds, performing tracks such as 'Hey Heartbreaker', 'Kids', 'Let's Make Out', 'Somebody' and 'Fire' off their debut self-tilted album 'Dreamwife'. Moving away from bigger known bands and artists, we managed to spend some time over at the BBC Introducing stage in between sets to check out some of undiscovered talent. Stereo Honey and The Blinders both amazing bands were playing second day at Leeds Festival 2018 on BBC Radio 1 Stage. Both bands attracted reasonable crowd.
The Blinders headlined the second day of BBC Introducing Stage and they well-deserved the slot! Already performing on Thursday night opening Leeds Festival 2018, the band bought in massive crowd to the stage and got done business soon as they first came on stage. We've been following the band since day one and have caught them on their UK Headline shows in Scotland earlier in the year and definitely love their image and music.
The Blinders kicked off their track Gotta Get Through and just started doing what they do best... going wild on stage! As they continue beltering though their tracks, more people came and watched them on stage, The Blinders performed other known tracks such as 'Brand New Wave', 'L'Etat C'est Moi', 'Ramona Flowers', 'Swine' and many more tracks.
The Blinders definitely making their name right now and we expect them to play a much bigger stage next year and Reading and Leeds festivals.

Back to The Pit / Lock Up Stage we seen our favourite Scottish rockers 'The Xcerts' take to the stage bringing their Scottish rock anthems to a very packed tiny tent to those who managed fit in the tent witness this epic set!.
Kicking off with Shaking In The Water, The Xcerts owned the stage already, the crowd engagement was incredible. Murray MacLeod and co. continued to perform tracks off their four albums including new album 'Hold on to Your Heart' their included likes of 'Crazy', 'Hold on to Your Heart', 'We Are Gonna Live', 'Aberdeen 1987' and 'Feels Like Falling In Love'. Their went down by treat with the Leeds crowd and we expect the band to be on much bigger stage next time they appear at the festival. It was great to see some Scottish rock playing at the festival this year.

Back over to Main-Stage we caught two festive band favourites. First up were The Wombats known for indie-rock new wave sounds on their hit numbers such as 'Let's Dance To Joy Division' and 'Greeky Tragedy'.
Kicking right off with Cheetah Tongue off their new album release 'Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life'. The crowd was already in a good vibe and great mood and was looking forward to more tracks from the Scouse band. Beltering though their set-list band included tracks such as 'Give Me a Try', 'Moving to New York', 'Let's Dance to Joy Division' and many more. Matthew Murphy and co. ended with the brilliant 'Greeky Tragedy' which seen the crowd go wild and also seen some flares appearing above the crowd.

Next up were The Kooks known for their bangers such as 'Native', 'She Move On Her Own Way', 'Seaside' and 'Bad Habit'. Kicking off with 'Eddie's Gun' and followed by 'Bad Habit' the crowd were already wanting more from the Brighton rockers.
Despite the heavy rain falling down from the skies, this didn't stop the crowd enjoying The Kooks who bought one best vibes possible for Travis Scott and Fall Out Boy who were next up co-headlining the Main Stage straight after.
The Kooks belter though their set performing tracks such as 'She Moves in Her Own Way', 'Ooh La', 'Shine On', 'Seaside', 'Junk of the Heart (Happy)' and ending with massive anthem which is 'Naive'.
tmosphere during The Kooks was insane, the band are set go out on tour next month performing some intimate shows across the country.

Another band rocking this year's bill over on BBC Radio 1 Stage was Nothing But Thieves. Having released their second studio album 'Broken Machine' last year, Nothing But Thieves have been having massive success since their successful debut self-tilted album back in 2015.
Having sold-out tours around the UK and gaining attraction from other parts around the world and also touring with one of greatest bands to see live on the planet 'MUSE' who headlined last year's Reading and Leeds festivals and definitely shows Nothing But Thieves are going somewhere with their short-handed career so far.
Having missed out on headlining BBC Radio 1 Stage to fellow rivals 'Wolf Alice', Nothing But Thieves till put on one hell of a show! Performing well known tracks such as 'Ban All The Music', 'Wake Up Call', 'Forever and Ever More', 'Itch' and their massive single 'Amsterdam' from their current album. Their set went down by a storm.
Nothing But Thieves will be touring their current album 'Broken Machine' one last time around the UK later this year, playing some big shows!

Back over to Main Stage now to see first of two American artists co-headlining the Main Stage of second day of Leeds Festival 2018. First up was American Rapper 'Travis Scott', who was making his debut appearance at the festival. Attracting large audience to watch his set was pretty surreal moment to remember.
Performing a eight-teen song set, Travis Scott just got straight into kicking off with STARGAZING followed-by CAROUSEL. The crowd were already in zone and moshing away, just having a good time and great vibe. His set also consisted of some of his well-known hits including 'Upper Echelon', 'Mamacita', 'Antidote', 'Butterfly Effect' and much more.
The crowd couldn't get enough of him, just moshing away, singing back lyrics and just having a good time, for one of most diverse line-ups seen in it's history of Reading and Leeds festivals, following criticism, the change of genres being displayed on the line-up has actually paid off and went down okay with festival goers who were at the festival this weekend.
Travis Scott finished with his massive collaboration 'Goosebumps' with tomorrow night's headliner 'Kendrick Lamar' - Travis Scott definitely got crowd in good mood for FALL OUT BOY who were next up on stage.

As Saturday and the second day of Leeds Festival 2018 headliners 'Fall Out Boy' was due to take to the stage over on the main-stage next, Festival organisers put on alternative headliners on Tother stages. Including the likes of American rockers 'Underoath' closing The Pit/Lock-Up tent, English rockers 'The Horrors' wrapping up things over on Festival Republic Stage, the brilliant 'WOLF ALICE' closing things on BBC Radio 1 Stage and Annie Mac taking to the decks over on the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage.
We managed to check out brilliant 'Wolf Alice' doing their thing over on BBC Radio 1 stage. Wolf Alice have been making their name since first released their debut album 'My Love Is Cool' back in 2015 and more so with their second album 'Visions of a Life' released last year. Wolf Alice have been supporting likes of The 1975 on tour in UK, EU and US, as well as touring some big shows recently with Queen Of The Stone Age, Foo Fighters and opening up for Liam Gallagher at Finsbury Park in London is a massive achievement, now their headlining the second stage 'BBC Radio 1' at Reading and Leeds festivals.
Kicking right off into their dark to light vision and guitar sounds, Wolf Alice appeared on stage to their track 'Your Loves Whore' from their debut album followed by their recent hit number 'Yuk Foo' from their recent album. Lead vocalist and guitarist 'Ellie Rowsell' appears on stage dressed in a suit and basically owns the stage, doing what she does best and crowd are just loving it.
As Ellie Rowsell and co.. belter though their set, playing tracks such as 'You're a Gem', 'Don't Delete the Kisses', 'Beautiful Unconventional', 'Bros', 'Moaning Lisa Smile' and ending with the classical number 'Giant Peach', Wolf Alice prove their worthy of headlining the Main-Stage in future years to come.
Throughout their set, the crowd were jamming along, singing along lyrics and just really going for it and Wolf Alice one of many guitar bands still out there who are up and coming and always put one-hundred percent into their performances and one many successful female-lead bands out there at moment and put their stamp on to get more female bands out there playing festivals such as Reading and Leeds and many more.
Wolf Alice deserved their epic headline slot of BBC Radio 1 Stage and should really headlining main-stage in years to come or even next year!

Closing the Main-Stage for second day of Leeds Festival 2018 were American rockers - 'Fall Out Boy' Following their last headline slot back in 2015, Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz and co, bought much bigger stage with visuals, fireworks and pyro flares. Attracting a reasonable size crowd, Fall Out Boy went straight into their set kicking off with 'Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes' and 'The Phoenix'.
Fall Out Boy's headline set is in support of their new album 'MANIA' which was released earlier this year. Album has had massive success and has seem them already touring UK around arena venues around the country back in the spring and now their back for two epic outdoor shows at Reading and Leeds festivals this weekend and taking a break from their tour in the states.

Continuing beltering though their epic set list, we seen more fan favourites being place such as 'Sugar, We're Goin Down', 'Immortals', 'Uma Thurman', 'Thnks fr th Mmrs' and many more. Throughout their set we seen fireworks, pyro flares going up and also smoke flares in crowd. The crowd were jamming along and singing along to every lyric and just having a really good time.
Despite all this there were few sound problems as volume kept cutting during some songs but Fall Out Boy managed to pull though it and continued playing their epic set. Also during their set was a cover of King Of Pop 'Michael Jackson' Beat It and it went down delight with the Leeds crowd and set came to end with their massive hits such as 'This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race' and 'Centuries'
During their encore, FOB performed 'My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)' and 'Saturday' where epic fireworks display ended their set and Pete jumped off the stage and ran past crowd at barrier before jumping up on barrier singing to the crowd and thanking them for coming to see them.
Their set came to a close and was one epic set to remember. Fall Out Boy proved why they're a band capable of headlining the main stage at Reading and Leeds festivals and will most likely headline again in future years to come.
