According to The New York Times, “No punk band of the 1990s has been more influential than ‘blink-182’.”  While ‘blink-182’ have already racked up more than their fair share of platinum records and blockbuster singles, they are looking forward to their 10th studio album.

With Delonge back after nearly a decade fans can expect that electric on stage magic that the trio has delivered over the years. With their new album due in 2023, ‘blink-182’ is stoked to be facing their future together.

GERRY CINNAMON // main stage // 7:20pm

Rising from a self-released debut album, ERRATIC CINEMATIC, Gerry Cinnamon has become a
stadium, castle and arena-filling headliner. His hotly anticipated second album, THE BONNY, shot
straight to UK Number 1 in the Official Charts and became the third biggest selling UK album released
that year. Two platinum albums featuring multiple platinum singles, his music crosses generations in a
way that only a handful of wordsmiths can – relatable, relevant and a true story teller.

Gerry spent last year playing his biggest shows to date. His 350,000-capacity UK and Ireland tour,
originally due to happen in 2020, included sold out shows at Birmingham and Manchester Arenas,
London’s iconic Alexandra Palace, the 25,000 capacity Malahide Castle, Dublin, and Musgrave Park
Stadium, Cork. He also headlined at Swansea’s Singleton Park, the second biggest show ever held in
the Welsh city, AND set the record as the first artist to sell out three headline shows at the Belsonic,
Belfast, playing to over 60,000 fans.

The record-breaking tour concluded with two history-making homecoming shows at Hampden Park,
Scotland’s National football stadium. With these shows, playing to over 100,000 fans, Gerry
Cinnamon made history as the first independent act and indeed the first Scot to sell out multiple nights
at the national stadium.

Gerry’s gigs have become folklore – joyous mass fan singalongs inspiring a dedicated following that
has swelled, via word-of-mouth, to global phenomenon

TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB // MAIN STAGE // 5:55PM

Mixing guitar-driven hooks with dancey, electronic polish, Northern Ireland’s Two Door Cinema Club first gained attention with 2010’s Tourist History and singles like What You Know, Something Good Can Work and Undercover Martyn. Tourist History received worldwide critical acclaim and it saw the band cement a global following. The band have since produced a hat trick of records of equal merit and success: Beacon (2012), Gameshow (2016) and False Alarm (2019); each scoring Top 10 positions in the official charts of the UK and a rave reception from critics and fans alike.

SPIRITBOX // MAIN STAGE // 4.2OPM

Spiritbox, a band who amassed 66 million streams before they’d dropped a debut album, growing that number to 300 million following the release of first LP Eternal Blue, which hit #1 on the U.S. and Canadian Rock and Hard Rock charts, and peaked at #13 on the Billboard 200. Formed in 2017 by husband and wife Courtney LaPlante (vocals) and Michael Stringer (guitar) with Zev Rose (drums) and Josh Gilbert (bass) solidifying the line up in 2023. Spiritbox are named after a device some believe is capable of communicating with the dead. There’s a gleeful sense of the paranormal running through all the band do, but despite their celestial stylings, this is a group of artists who are very much brimming with life and creating something remarkable with their music.

NECK DEEP // MAIN STAGE // 3:35PM

Over the last decade, Neck Deep have gate crashed the charts, both at home and internationally, sold hundreds of thousands of records and concert tickets, graced magazine covers all over the world and toured with some of the biggest names in the business in the process. As the band enter their second decade as a band, you’d continue to be foolish betting against the boys from Wrexham

THE K’S // MAIN STAGE // 2:30PM

The K's are an indie rock band from Earlestown, Newton-le-Willows, in the UK. Formed in 2017, the band comprises Jamie Boyle (vocals/guitar), Ryan Breslin (lead guitar), Dexter Baker (bass), and Jordan Holden (drums). They are known for their energetic live performances and catchy, anthemic songs.

Their music often features themes of working-class life, relationships, and social issues, and they have been gaining traction with a growing fan base in the UK and beyond. Songs like "Sarajevo," "Glass Towns," and "Dacton" have helped them build a strong reputation on the indie music scene.

KNEE CAP // MAIN STAGE // 1:40PM

2023 saw Kneecap play triumphant sold-out shows at London’s Electric Ballroom, two shows at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre and headline a US tour which culminated with a sold-out show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. In the summer the Irish rap trio signed to revered independent record label Heavenly Recordings and announced details of their Toddla T produced debut single for Heavenly Recordings, ‘Better Way To Live’ which is a collaboration with Fontaines D.C. ‘s superconductor frontman Grian Chatten, who brings a louche and ruffled charm to Kneecap’s relentless and addictive bounce.

The band kick-started the new year with the world premiere of ‘KNEECAP’ the feature film at this year’s Sundance Film Festival’s opening night on Thursday 18th January. ‘The Kneecap biopic film’ is written and directed by Rich Peppiatt (‘One Rogue Reporter’) and stars Michael Fassbender.

A frighteningly articulate rap group from Belfast, Kneecap seamlessly merge Irish with English, satire with socially conscious lyrics, and reality with absurdity. Theirs is a voice which comes screaming from the too-often deprived areas of the North of Ireland, speaking in a language which is too-often ignored. It makes for a suitably electrifying and unique blend of “explosive delivery, graphic humour and unrelenting charm (that’s) reminiscent of early Eminem” (LA Times).

SEB LOWE // MAIN STAGE // 12:50PM

Seb has an incredible knack for delivering powerful state-of-the-nation polemics, but he wraps his impassioned messages up in kaleidoscopic sounds and soaring choruses with the potential to become one of Britain’s most distinctive and powerful voices.

BBC RADIO 1 STAGE

JORJA SMITH // BBC RADIO 1 STAGE // 8:50PM

September 29th 2023 – British singer Jorja Smith has released her highly anticipated second album ‘falling or flying’

‘falling or Flying’; a sonically vast record – sometimes sleek and shiny R&B, sometimes vibey and heated UK funky, elsewhere intense and raw alternative – is a record which finds an artist stepping into a new chapter. Jorja’s acknowledging the ever-whirring cogs of her brain but also moving through it, growing, respecting herself above everything else. It’s why the defiant lead single ‘Try Me’ – an astute, self-dissecting take on being viewed by the public gaze over bold, intricate beats – is also the opening track of the album. She explains: “It’s kind of ‘BAM!’, you know? It whacks you right in the face, it sounds like an entrance.” She credits the record’s slick and assured musicality to production duo DAMEDAME*: “I feel like making the album brought me back home,” she smiles, warmly, “Where you’re from is where you get your powers, and that’s why I’m so grateful I could make this with DAMEDAME* – they still have their roots in the ground from back home. And we had so much fun making this.

CONFIDENCE MAN // BBC RADIO 1 STAGE // 5:55PM

Confidence Man are unarguably one of the hottest acts on the planet right now. A portable party that’s levelled dance floors and flattened festival crowds as it’s rolled out across the world, their performances are custom designed to make you dance and lose your cool.

Parading within a brand of dance pop that sounds like Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder gleefully discovering house music via Dee-lite, there’s no question that Confidence Man will make you turn it up. Go ahead, feel yourself. It’s ok. Confidence Man have given you that. It’s in the name, after all.

TEDDY SWIMMS // BBC RADIO 1 STAGE // 4.50PM

Reigning from Atlanta, GA, vocal powerhouse Teddy Swims (born Jaten Dimsdale) found himself on the path towards self-forgiveness when he started putting pen to paper for his debut studio album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), via Warner Records. Though he’s released music and toured the world since making his debut in 2019, the 31-year-old Georgia-born artist has spent much of the last four years writing his way towards an album that would tell this story – his story – to the people who were ready to receive it.

An emotionally walloping and deeply resonant body of work to be released in multiple parts – much like Teddy’s own journey of self-discovery – I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1)  is an album about diving headfirst into healing without any floatation devices. The ten-song Part One finds Teddy working out some very big, very real issues through his music. “Now I’m watching people connect with the messages and stories and realizing not only are the songs helping me, but they’re also helping them too,” he says. “It feels like all that work on the back end, all that internalizing, is finally making a difference.”

Swims’ breakout Platinum hit “Lose Control” became his first #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with one of the longest climbs to the top in Hot 100 history. Also marking Swims’ first #1 at Hot AC radio, the track has garnered nearly 1 billion global streams, reached #4 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, and #1 on the US and Global Shazam charts. Additionally, “Lose Control” has taken flight across the globe, reaching 2x-Platinum status in four countries thus far. With over 2.6 billion career streams to date, a sold-out global headline tour underway, and new music in the works, Swims is already on track for a record 2024.

FLO // BBC RADIO 1 STAGE // 3:50PM

You want a sign of FLO’s stratospheric trajectory? Since the release of the British girl group’s debut single Cardboard Box in March 2022, FLO have made history by becoming the first group to ever win Radio 1’s BBC Sound of 2023 and the BRIT Rising Star Award 2023. Having been the first group to ever win the BRIT Rising Star, FLO now follow in the footsteps of global superstars including Adele, Sam Smith and Celeste who all started their career with both accolades.

Believing in their “vision from day one”, FLO have become the most hotly tipped British music act of the year, nominated for Best Newcomer at the MOBOs where they made their sublime debut UK TV Awards performance, as well as winning cult platform No Signal’s Yearbook Top Of The Class accolade, breaking records with thousands of votes.

That’s what makes FLO so special: they know exactly who they are and what they want to do. Also, this is just the beginning. While The Lead set the scene, Not My Job and Losing You feels like yet another step up, all classic-sounding melodies, playful swagger and harmonies that live up to the band’s top tier inspirations turned fans. The world is very much their oyster. “Our ambitions haven’t changed,” states Renée.

“We want to go down in girl group history – so you had Destiny’s Child, TLC, Spice Girls, Pussycat Dolls, Little Mix and then Flo. Just to be in that conversation.” It makes sense right now to just go with the FLO.

Over the last decade, Neck Deep have gate crashed the charts, both at home and internationally, sold hundreds of thousands of records and concert tickets, graced magazine covers all over the world and toured with some of the biggest names in the business in the process. the amity affliction // festival republic stage // 6:50pm

With a musicality as heavy and hard-hitting as singer Joel Birch’s intensely emotional lyrics— about suicide, gun violence, religion and mental illness—Not Without My Ghosts finds The Amity Affliction at their brutal best. With four vocal features, including rising Los Angeles talent Phem, the band’s first female feature, on the title track, the Australian quartet’s eighth LP pushes the boundaries and genres of heavy music.

Over the last nearly 20 years that openness has garnered The Amity Affliction millions of fans who deeply resonate with the band, driving both streams and kudos for the lineup. Four records in a row—2012’s Chasing Ghosts; Let the Ocean Take Me (2014); This Could Be Heartbreak (2016); and 2018’s Misery (2018), debuted at #1 on Australia’s ARIA Charts. loveless // festival republic stage // 5:45pm

The pair began to find success posting thrilling covers online entering the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs chart at #2 with their version of Elley Duhé’s “MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT [youtube.com],” garnering attention from Lizzo with their spin on “About Damn Time [tiktok.com],” and going viral with their emo/pop-punk version of Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever [tiktok.com],” to name a few.

bad nerves // festival republic stage // 3:35pm

Bad Nerves are a five-piece power-pop, Rock ‘n’ roll band from Essex, UK. The bastard child of a Ramones/Strokes one night stand, they play ferociously fast distorted pop songs, with melodies that hook so deep, even the most skilled lobotomist would struggle to scrape them out.

Dubbed the “crowned Princes of power pop”, the five-piece are setting a new standard for adrenaline-fuelled pop-rock music. The band were also recently hand-picked by Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) for his Oakland Coffee playlist as well as being labelled by Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam) as one of his recent favourite bands.

With a sound reminiscent of Jay Reatard, Supergrass and FIDLAR, Bad Nerves kicked off their highly-anticipated sophomore album with its lead single ‘USA’, complete with US and UK tour. Look for the full album to drop in 2024 after a string of high-octane singles

lambrini girls // festival republic stage // 2:40pm

Lambrini Girls formed in the swamplands underneath Skegness Butlins, a scene filled with toxicity, a severe lack of accountability and not enough gravy. Flying the nest with a dream to curate slut vibes nationwide, they became the gayest band to ever win 50 consecutive Eurovision contests in a row.

Due to their massive success, they now all share a planet near earth in order for them to raise their 150 babies collectively (the father of which, is Lillys pedalboard) however, they do still practice in Brighton so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Lambrini Girls hotspots e.g your local skip or police station.

Inspiration drawn from the likes of Savages, Le Tigre, The Spice Girls and unresolved trauma; not only do Lambrini Girls plan on setting your bin on fire- they want to create spaces at shows for anyone who feels like there isn’t a place for them there already. No one deserves to feel uncomfortable, no one deserves to feel invisible, start conversations with your mates, never let anyone stop you existing authentically and most importantly: Gays to the front x

big special // festival republic stage // 12:00pm

Big Special are made up of Joe Hicklin (Singer) and Callum Moloney (Drums). With humble beginnings, the duo met on a college course in The Black Country having both been in various musical projects most of their lives. Hicklin had become somewhat a local institution due to performing frequently, and Callum had moved to Bristol mostly playing in wedding bands.

An avid writer of poetry, during lockdown Hicklin rewrote them into lyrics and wanted Moloney to be the drummer even though they had lost touch, but he declined due to the general commitments of life. Hicklin’s partner told him to ask again, whilst Moloney’s partner pushed him to drum outside of the cover bands which he had become tired of, and so they were reconnected and have been able to create something truly special.

Through countless odd jobs, career changes, and living pay cheque to pay cheque, Big Special have their roots firmly in the struggles of the working class, and how the impoverished are treated.

This is music from The Black Country.

“These two men make an amazing noise. Fantastic poetry, powerful songwriting and a texture of sound you’re just not going to hear any place else. It absolutely is both Big and Special.” – Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music

SOUTH ARCADE // BBC INTRODUCING STAGE // 8:10PM

South Arcade are one of the most exciting bands in the alternative scene at the moment. Made up of Harmony Scott-Russell, Harry Winks, Cody Leigh and Ollie Green, the band have gone from strength to strength since forming in 2021. An embodiment of the early noughties in both their sound and aesthetic, their catchy melodies, hammering guitars and energetic stage presence has garnered them a huge and rapidly growing following.

With an increasing list of tours under their belts, the Oxford-based four piece have built a strong reputation for their live performances. After successful support slots with the likes of As Everything Unfolds, Dead Pony, RØRY and Yours Truly, the band recently wrapped up the Arc.Angel Tour, a six-date run of some of their biggest headline shows to date, including the O2 Academy2 in Islington, with all dates completely sold-out!

Following a string of successful singles including unaware, New Fever and their most streamed track to date, Sound Of An Empty Room, South Arcade now have over 235k followers across their social media and 2.9 million likes and multiple viral videos on TikTok. While heavily inspired by the 2000’s pop rock era, South Arcade have found the perfect combination between the Y2K nostalgia and modern production, making them an unstoppable force in the scene.

soft launch // bbc introducing stage // 7:20pm

Introducing Soft Launch – a five piece who, when asked to describe themselves, quickly reel off, “Irish” and “boyband”.  It’s funny, because Soft Launch are not entirely Irish. They are also not entirely a boyband: not in the way you might expect anyway, but it’s exactly this brand of glint-in-the-eye self awareness that they wear so well and draws you into their orbit of stylish, intelligent, melodic perfection.

Soft Launch are Josh McClorey, Benedict Quinn, Conor Price, Henry Pearce and Limmer. Clearly, we are not in traditional boy band territory here: unless the boy band in question is as much Vampire Weekend and The Beatles as they are Harry Styles.

All of Soft Launch write, produce, and deftly interchange instruments throughout both the recording process and gigs. Lead vocals come in various waves from Josh, Henry, Conor & Ben with Limmer steadying The Beach Boys-esque ship. Their already packed out live shows is where anyone should head for a Good Time. Wall to wall with eager sub-20-somethings scream-singing every word back to the boys and lapping up the vibe, they sold out The Grace in London a few weeks ago in less than an hour, without a single piece of music out in the world. Here is a band totally realised, at ease with the stage and themselves and will have you wrapped around their little fingers without breaking a sweat.

Of course, this is just the beginning, but what’s clear is that Soft Launch seem to have been born from the kind of serendipity that doesn’t really exist anymore within a tik-tok focused, content-driven music industry. It was an old school happening of right place, right time: five incredible musicians- genuine artists- who never set out to be in a band, yet fit together so harmoniously in a way they just couldn’t ignore and you shouldn’t either.

BEREN OLIVIA // BBC INTRODUCING STAGE // 4:35PM

Beren Olivia is here to stay. After taking a step back to really look at her surroundings and what she wants to say, the British singer songwriter is returning stronger, more confident and more in tune with her true values and voice. Now, she’s forging down a path of powerful intention, paved by five potent songs on her upcoming EP that drive the lessons she’s learned home. “I was just finding my boundaries and myself,” she explains, now on the other side of this metamorphic period and ready to take on the world again. “It all needed to happen because I feel really solid–it was like a break down to rebuild thing. ”

Prior to this embrace of change, the 22 – year -old had made a name for herself as a rising talent to be reckoned with. A self-described “headphones kid”, growing up, she found music transported her into new worlds and helped her address thoughts and feelings she otherwise might not have. Combining her love of writing and poetry ( “I’d be writing poems during chemistry class and getting sent to detention, ”she laughs ) and self-taught guitar skills inspired by Taylor Swift, she started putting together her own songs around the age of 16.

ELLUR // BBC INTRODUCING STAGE // 3:40PM

Northern indie-pop artist Ellur writes self-detrimental love letters to herself in the form of danceable guitar anthems and timeless piano ballads. Ellur’s music glows with youthful energy whilst she celebrates and reflects on relationships, womanhood & growing up.

Over the past year, Ellur has released a number of widely praised singles including the feel-good indie-pop anthem ‘Anywhere’ (co-written with Kieran Shudall of Circa Waves), timeless piano ballad ‘Satellites’ and new festival-ready anthem ‘Boys’.

Whist picking up support from Radio 1, 6 Music, The Line of Best Fit and TikTok, Ellur and her fantastic live band have been busy touring the UK with Brooke Combe and The Pigeon Detectives and have supported Holly Humberstone, The Big Moon, Baby Queen & more! With a number of sold-out headline shows and upcoming festival dates already in the diary for 2024, (and named by Clash Magazine as one of the ‘Five Sets That Defined Live at Leeds In The Park’) Ellur and her band are certainly not ones to miss!

NE-O // BBC Introducing stage // 1:50pm

Newcastle-based artist NE-O is a multi-faceted talent. From supporting grime legends to headlining shows at the North East’s iconic Glasshouse ICM (fka The Sage) and sharing stages with bass heavyweights, his journey reflects a diverse catalogue. However, it’s his humble grime roots that remains a consistent thread throughout his career.

While his sound has evolved to embrace elements of UK Rap, his live performances still proudly echo his grime origins, with a Rhythm n Gash freestyle never going amiss.

After a brief hiatus in 2023, NE-O is back stronger than ever, with a backing from the industry like never before. Just a few months into 2024, he has already performed his biggest show to date, secured bookings at iconic venues and has even more projects on the horizon.

Starting his musical career in 2017 as a former member of NE Dons, the rapper has since gone on to release 4 EP’s. Along the way, he has received accolades such as Track Of The Week from BBC Introducing, a MOBO grant, a Maida Vale cypher feature, and airplay on BBC 1Xtra and BBC Radio 1; It’s as if every step NE-O’s taken so far has been leading up to 2024, poised to be the pinnacle of his career thus far.

CARSICK // BBC INTRODUCING STAGE // 12:00PM

Last year CARSICK make a proper name for themselves, dropped their debut EP ‘Drunk Hymns’, and solidified their growing reputation as one of the UK’s most energetic, unpredictable, and all-around wild live acts. Their music – a blend of raw punk, 90s-inspired indie-rock, UK hip-hop, and irresistible electronic elements – is all about living for the weekend; about the desperate chaos of small-town nightlife and about forgetting what happened last night. Support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, John Kennedy on Radio X, and Tom Robinson has ensured that their “anthems for the pissed-up and pissed-off” are reaching an ever-expanding cult following. If the band are to be believed, this is the downfall of British music at terminal velocity. Get on board while you can.
