Fred again..’s extraordinary talent has powered his meteoric rise to become one of the UK’s most-loved artists. Fred’s virtuosic live shows, in spaces ranging from surprise pop-ups in tiny Hebridean village halls to the renowned Madison Square Gardens in New York, have wowed crowds around the globe. This UK exclusive headline performance is a true arrival moment, as Fred steps-up to his first UK festival headline slot and makes history as the first electronic artist to close Reading & Leeds.

Fred again.. said about Reading & Leeds it’s: “ the only UK festival I’m playing next year and is the first festival I ever went to.”

Lana Del Rey’s iconic sound has distinguished her as one of the defining artistic voices of her generation. Her uniquely atmospheric and powerfully stylish live show will grace Reading & Leeds in a UK exclusive headline set that promises to underline Lana’s status as one of the most influential artists on the planet.

Brit-pop icon and Rock and Roll demigod Liam Gallagher will mark the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ all-conquering debut Definitely Maybe by performing the album in full at Reading & Leeds. The historic headlining sets will combine Oasis’ greatest hits with Gallagher’s lauded solo work, which has inspired new generations of fans with five UK #1 albums in just six years.

Liam Gallagher said: “I’m gonna be playing Reading & Leeds the most RnR festivals we have left in the UK. Be there or be square LGx”

Catfish and the Bottlemen's highly anticipated return is finally here. A band in possession of a magnetic focal point in frontman Van McCann, Catfish and the Bottlemen are firmly established as one of the most interesting and dynamic bands to come out of the UK in recent years. From the outset, people have united around their music and extraordinary live performances. Audiences and fans from Manchester to Melbourne, Tokyo to Los Angeles, Berlin to New York, and everywhere in between, have been swept up by the propulsive joy and energy of their live shows. Having climbed the ranks to a career-defining headline set at Reading & Leeds in 2021, Catfish and the Bottlemen will again deliver an ecstatic headline show next summer.

One of the world’s biggest rock bands, Blink-182, has sold over 50 million albums in a career spanning nearly 30 years. The band is more in-demand than ever following the reformation of its iconic original line-up featuring Tom DeLonge, Travis Barker, and Mark Hoppus on new album ‘One More Time’. Blink-182’s 2024 UK festival exclusive performance marks a return to Reading & Leeds after a decade and will be a pop-punk hit-filled celebration of the genre they shaped.

The UK’s biggest independent artist Gerry Cinnamon has enjoyed one of contemporary music’s most extraordinary ascents to stardom. His revealing and honest songs with their soaring choruses have inspired a huge and devoted audience. In just a few years he has risen to become a multi-platinum selling artist and a stadium, castle and arena-filling headliner. His hotly anticipated second album, THE BONNY, shot straight to UK Number 1 in the Official Charts and Gerry’s sold out 355,000 capacity UK tour culminated in two history-making homecoming shows at Scotland's national stadium with 100,000 fans last year. Now his first Reading & Leeds headline awaits.

Gerry Cinnamon said: “Reading and Leeds. Last time was absolutely fucking bananas. Was first gig straight out of lockdown, heavy emotional. Headlining now so we’ll take it up another level again. Buzzing to be back. See you there.”

Also joining the Reading & Leeds line-up is RAYE, whose soulful vocals and poetic lyrics have all contributed to a stratospheric rise, culminating in the release of her long-awaited award-winning independent debut album, My 21st Century Blues.

Skrillex, dubstep’s trailblazer, has returned to music’s forefront this year, meticulously honing his already groundbreaking sound and emerging as an even more essential figure among the world’s top producers, DJs, and artists.

Also confirmed are Spiritbox, one of the most impressive and hyped young metal bands of today. Led by frontwoman Courtney LaPlante they’ve continued to drive the genre forward and recent collaboration with previous R&L headliner Megan The Stallion has put them firmly on the path to cross-over stardom.

Having made recent history as the youngest rapper to play the iconic Royal Albert Hall, Digga D now celebrates his return to Reading & Leeds festival. His viral hits have cemented his status as one of the most exciting young artists in the country, this will be a set not to be missed.

Reading & Leeds festivals are rites-of-passage for both artists and lovers of live music around the country and the ultimate barometer of youth culture. The festivals never stand still, attracting the world’s hottest artists and 240,000 combined visitors a year, making them the biggest UK festivals dedicated purely to music.

Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic said: “We are thrilled to announce the first wave of artists for Reading & Leeds 2024. I am very proud that the biggest artists in the world choose to play Reading & Leeds and to have three incredible UK festival exclusives – the electrifying Fred again.., a true generational talent Lana Del Rey and the legendary Blink-182. The iconic Liam Gallagher will return to play an all-time classic album 'Definitely Maybe' which will be a special moment indeed. We pride ourselves on nurturing artists from the early stages in their career, so to see acts like Catfish and the Bottlemen rising through the festival to headline for the second time is very rewarding. 2023 was a hugely successful year for attendance and sensational audience feedback, and we are eager to build upon this success even further at the UK's biggest and best music festival.”
