Pulp will make their only Scottish appearance at TRNSMT - Pulp, Sam Fender, The 1975 and many more are set to play explosive sets across the weekend - Festival returns 7th – 9th July and organisers unveil new VIP+ and Ultimate TRNSMT Ticket
TRNSMT is set to host its biggest ever line-up as main stage headliners are announced for the Glasgow Green festival next summer.
A variety of huge headliners have been unveiled, set to grace the festival's iconic main stage across the weekend.
For fans that can’t wait to get their hands on tickets, festival organisers have announced that presale tickets for those on the TRNSMT database are available from 9am on 3rd November, and general sale will be live from 9am on 4th November. New VIP+ and Ultimate tickets have also been unveiled, allowing fans to enhance their experience at the UK festival heavyweight.
Festival legends, Pulp will headline the opening night of TRNSMT 2023 marking a hugely anticipated comeback. The band will top the bill at UK festivals and have a string of headline shows across the UK and Ireland in 2023, where they will play live for the first time in 10 years.
George Ezra is set to charm the Friday crowd along with One Direction’s, Niall Horan, who will be making his TRNSMT debut and vocals from the Beautiful South’s, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbot will soar across the Green.
Crowds will roar as Sam Fender returns to TRNSMT for an incredible and unprecedented 4th year in a row, this time as Saturday’s headliner. Fan favourites and previous TRNSMT headliners, Kasabian will also take to the stage whilst Aitch, one of the fastest growing UK rap artists, will be bouncing on to the main stage and making his much anticipated debut at TRNSMT, along with Dublin’s Inhaler who will be keeping energy levels high.
Hot on the heels of releasing their fifth album and taking their place in an exclusive club of artists to have reached Number One with all of their studio albums, The 1975 will be closing the curtain on TRNSMT 2023 and are set to wow with their visuals and energy.
Brighton rock duo Royal Blood will be playing at TRNSMT for the first time and making a whole lot of noise, and the unmistakable voice of Becky Hill will be gracing the Green on Sunday too. The Kooks will also be performing following their sell-out 15th anniversary tour for their debut Inside In / Inside Out album.
In true TRNSMT style, the main stage will also host some of the most up and coming names in music who have recently burst through in the scene who are now selling out theatres across the UK, including Ashnikko, Maisie Peters, Jamie Webster and Brooke Combe.
New for 2023, TRNSMT fans can upgrade their experience by going VIP+ or Ultimate. The VIP+ ticket will guarantee festivalgoers access to the front pens, which are usually only available on a first come, first served basis, along with all the luxuries of a VIP ticket. For those wanting the ultimate TRNSMT experience a new Ultimate ticket will give the lucky few complimentary drinks, food from the artist catering menu, table service, and so much more.
King Tut’s Stage, Boogie Bar and River Stage artists are still to be announced with more acts to be added to the main stage lineup.
Geoff Ellis, Festival Director at TRNSMT, said: “After the success of this summer’s sell-out event, we are excited to launch 2023’s lineup. It’s one of our biggest yet, led by festival legends Pulp, Glasgow’s adopted Geordie Sam Fender and returning previous headliners The 1975, George Ezra, and Kasabian along with some new and established names, with plenty more acts still to be announced including some of the best emerging talent on offer.
“We know that while everyone is feeling the squeeze from rising prices, there’s an unwavering demand for live music. We’ve made the decision to keep our weekend general admission tickets at the same price as last year for the initial on sale and it’s important to us that experiencing the thrill and excitement of live music is accessible to as many people as possible.
“If Glasgow Green had a roof, it will be well and truly raised next summer and we can’t wait to welcome fans back.”
Fans can sign up for presale before 3rd November here. Tickets will be available from trnsmtfest.com from 4th November and for a limited time, a three-day general admission ticket is the same price as the 2022 event.
