Slam Dunk Festival director, Ben Ray, has confirmed that the festival’s 2021 event will be pushed back to from May to September.
Following the UK government’s announcement yesterday (February 22nd 2021), which detailed plans of a four-step roadmap out of lockdown with the easing of restrictions across the UK, it was revealed that large live events in England could be permitted from June 21st 2021 onwards.
The festival, which was due to take place across the May bank holiday weekend in both Leeds and Hatfield, has since been pushed back to September in a bid to accommodate these new announcements.
