When an artist says that they sell out the O2, it usually means floor and upper deck around the area, but for Chase Atlantic that was not enough. London’s iconic venue was full all the way to the top with fans who came down early to enjoy the last stop of Chase Atlantic’s 2025 tour – a performance that (spoiler alert) left us all buzzing.

Formed in 2014 in Australia, Chase Atlantic are no strangers to performing. 10 years in the making, the band that has redefined alternative R&B, trap, pop rock and synth, fusing Tame Impala and The Weeknd came to London with a full on show. I have to be honest, when I watch shows of this sort of genre I expect auto-tune and pre-recorded tracks. But no, Chase Atlantic beg to differ, bringing on the full house – a live band, a live sax and layered vocals without any auto-tune, making their show not only sound exactly like the recorded version but taking it to another level (yes, that sax hits hard).

The night’s setlist was a well curated mix of fan (and personal) favourites and newer tracks. Standouts were the sensual anthem ‘Slow Down’, iconic singalong song ‘OHMAMI’, ‘HEAVEN AND BACK’ and ‘DISCONNECTED’, whilst fans went a bit more crazy during ‘Into It’, ‘Ok’ and ‘Church’. The songs flew seamlessly from one to the other with almost no pauses other than to address gratitude to the audience, whilst the crowd and the band kept jumping in unison with an energy that was unmatched. Once again, when the sax solos came into play, the night was definitely elevated. The 20-song strong setlist kept the energy high through the performance, which was also enhanced by trippy projections, intense drum and guitar solos and striking pyrotechnics.

To end their set, other than a very heartfelt speech thinking fans for bringing the band to a venue they never thought they would perform and highlighting the importance of loving each other and connecting through music – as well as ‘leaving the shit at the door to enjoy the night’, Chase Atlantic played ‘Swim’ and ‘Friends’, with people screaming their lungs out at the end as a way to release all the tension that had accumulated through the performance. It was a unique way to connect the crowd with the band on stage, making the arena show feel like an indoor festival and an intimate show at the same time.

Despite the O2 show being the band’s last performance on their tour, they are promised to come back and shake England to its core later this year at BLUDFEST. This is a highly anticipated performance and one that should definitely not be missed – trust me, you’re in for a treat.
