Tom Walker's performance at the O2 Academy in Glasgow was a night to remember, filled with soul-stirring music and genuine moments of connection. As the crowd eagerly awaited his arrival, little did they know they were in for a night of surprises and touching gestures.

Walker kicked off the evening with his signature blend of folk-pop anthems, captivating the audience from the first chord. Amidst the electrifying atmosphere, Walker paused to introduce a special moment—a fan proposing to their partner right in the middle of the crowd. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as the couple shared a heartfelt embrace, adding an extra layer of warmth and joy to the already vibrant evening.

However, the surprises didn't end there. Midway through his performance, Walker noticed a fan in distress near the front row. Without hesitation, he halted the show to ensure the fan received the assistance they needed, showcasing his genuine concern for his audience's well-being. This impromptu act of kindness further endeared Walker to his fans, solidifying his reputation as not only a talented musician but also a compassionate human being.

Among the highlights of the night was Walker's performance of tracks from his latest album, "I Am." With raw emotion and unwavering passion, he delivered a soul-stirring rendition of the album's title track, as well as my new favourite “Echo” captivating the audience with its poignant lyrics and infectious melodies. He is one of few musicians nowadays that deliver a performance that lives to and surpasses their recorded works. From heartwarming moments of love and camaraderie to soulful melodies that touched the deepest parts of the soul, Walker proved once again why he is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. For those lucky enough to be in attendance, it was a night they'll cherish for years to come. Tom Walkers new album “I Am” is released at 8:30am on the 1st of May and this reviewer will be sure to listen to it.
