★★★★★ (5/5)
Griff, the rising British star of 2021, has been making waves with her captivating music and dynamic performances. Her tour has been eagerly anticipated by fans across the UK, and bringing it to the grand venue of Albert Hall in Manchester is sure to be a highlight.
The Albert Hall, with its stunning architecture and acoustics, provides the perfect backdrop for Griff's unique sound and stage presence. Fans can expect an unforgettable evening filled with her infectious energy, heartfelt lyrics, and impressive vocal range.
With a confident stride, Griff made her way to the center of the stage, where four curtains hung, waiting to be unveiled.
With a swift motion, Griff pulled down each curtain herself, revealing four pristine white banners suspended behind her. The audience watched in anticipation as she then climbed up a set of ladders.
With a spray paint gun in hand, Griff began to add the date "Manchester 28/03" to one of the banners, adding it to the list of previously visited cities.
'Black Hole' got the show underway, which launched Griff's career back in 2021. Griff's movements were fluid and electrifying as she danced across the stage. With each step, she seemed to command attention, her body moving in perfect harmony with the rhythm of the music.
As the show progressed, Griff delighted the crowd with a medley of hits from his own repertoire, each song showcasing his musical genius and captivating stage presence. However, the real surprise came when she unexpectedly launched into a cover of "Anti-Hero" by Taylor Swift and Griff proceeded to make her way to the centre of the crowd where she took stage on a small sound box. Just her and her guitar played out to the sold out crowd.
Griff took time to address the audience and converse with them, telling all about her childhood and her family fostering.
The concert ended with Griff's newer hits 'I Miss Me Too' 'Cycles' & 'Vertigo'
Griff is definitely an artist to watch as this show was spectacular.
