On the 27th of February, The Snuts took over the iconic Barrowlands for the first of two consecutive sold-out shows, highlighting the prowess that has marked their journey as one of Scotland's hottest bands. The performance was the first of their tour for the eagerly anticipated 'Millenials,' their third album that's aiming for the #1 spot in the midweek charts - after releasing on Friday.

The Bathgate band, launching the album under their own label, Happy Artists for the first time, brought a unique blend of humour and charisma to the stage - alongside an awe-inspiring mix of new material and classics. In the week leading up to the gig, they treated fans to amusing content on social media and quirky Millennial statistics around Glasgow, creating an engaging build-up to the event, and their album.

The atmosphere was electric as the band took the stage, opening with tracks from 'Millenials.' The audience's enthusiasm soared as they charted through some of the album’s top hits like 'Gloria,' 'Dreams,' and 'Millionaires,' all met with resounding approval. What followed was a seamless transition into older favorites.

Injecting humor into the night, the band brought out a Rod Stewart tribute act, who performed the Scotsman’s hit, 'Maggie May.' This cheeky nod was accompanied by playful banter about their ongoing chart battle with Stewart and Jools Holland. Jack Cochrane then made a bold statement, declaring, “We made the best record this week - there's no way we’re letting Rod Stewart and Jools Holland beat us.”

Skipping the traditional encore after a flurry of fan favourites, The Snuts closed the show with a flourish, ending on their hit 'Glasgow.' The East end crowd reciprocated the band's energy, singing every word back to them.

The Snuts' Barrowlands performance to open the 'Millenials' tour solidified their status as one of Scotland's top acts. With a sold-out venue subject to a blend of humor and musical prowess, The Snuts are undeniably making waves in the Scottish music scene.
