The Vaccines brought their tour to a roaring finale at the Sold-Out Bath Forum Show, delivering an outstanding performance that was both nostalgic and high in energy. The band took full advantage of the packed house to close out this tour leg on an unforgettable note.

Opening the night was the familiar face T Truman, one-fifth of the Vaccines, Tim Lanham set the stage with a roller banner and a boombox. Almost giving a rhetorical feel, a mix of his charismatic vocals and clever lyrics, he brought a refreshing mix of glam-pop and 70s-inspired sounds to the stage.

His easy-going, engaging style provided a nice contrast to the heavier acts to follow, and the crowd responded well, some fans already knowing all the lyrics to all his songs.

T Truman’s presence was magnetic, drawing listeners in with both his voice and his keyboard-driven melodies, setting an upbeat, playful tone for the night.

The second support act, Delivery, brought a grittier, more visceral energy to the stage, increasing the intensity as the night progressed. The Melbourne-based band known for their punchy, post-punk sound and edgy lyrics struck a chord with the fans of The Vaccine’s rawer side. With tracks played from their debut album ‘Forever Giving Handshakes’ as well as new singles, they leaned into distorted guitar riffs and relentless drumbeats, creating a driving, almost frenetic soundscape.

Delivery’s performance was tight and dynamic, and their chemistry as a band was unmistakable, leaving the audience perfectly primed for the main event.

When The Vaccines took the stage, the anticipation in the room was insane, and they didn’t disappoint. They immediately had the crowd singing along. The setlist was a well-curated mix of old favourites, such as “If You Wanna” and “Post Break-Up Sex.

Justin Young's vocals were as sharp as ever. Throughout the performance, guitarist Freddie Cowan and bassist Árni Árnason kept the energy high with fiery riffs and a powerful low-end rhythm, while drummer Yoann Intonti provided the thunderous beat that had the crowd bouncing along. The chemistry between the bandmates was clear, with each member bringing their all to this final performance.

As the night ended, the crowd begged for more, and The Vaccines obliged with a thrilling encore. The room erupted, fans singing along to every word as the band gave them one last, exhilarating moment to hold onto. The encore felt like a shared celebration, both for the band, who were grateful to their fans, and for the crowd, who gave back every bit of energy they’d received.

The Vaccines’ last show in Bath was nothing short of electrifying. With memorable opening acts from T Truman’s glam-pop stylings to Delivery’s raw post-punk, the night had a vibrant mix of sounds and emotions. The Vaccines proved once again why they have such a loyal following, closing out their tour with a powerful performance that will resonate with fans for years to come.
