DMA's have come a long way since their last performance in Glasgow when they supported Liam Gallagher in 2019. Since then, the band has continued to grow and evolve, both musically and personally.  Their most recent performance for their How Many Dreams tour proved to be an unforgettable evening of music. The Australian trio delivered a high-energy performance that had the crowd bouncing and singing along from start to finish.

DMA’s opened with the title track of their new album “How Many Dreams.” The buoyant instrumentals mixed with Lead Singer Tommy O’Dell’s vocals make for the perfect set opener. The rest of the setlist was a perfect mix of their older hits and new material, showcasing the range and growth of the band. Some tracks on the night included "The Glow," "Timeless," “Hello Girlfriend,” and "Olympia," which were performed wonderfully leaving O’Dell with the crowd in the palm of his hands.

DMA's performance in Glasgow was a testament to the band's songwriting prowess, energetic stage presence, and ability to connect with their audience on a deeper level. They delivered a setlist that showcased their range, from the upbeat and danceable "Play It Out" to the soft but elegant "Tape Deck Sick".

"Lay Down" and "Silver" were two standout tracks during DMA's performance at the O2 Academy in Glasgow. "Lay Down" a long-time fan favourite for listeners of DMA’s, had the crowd singing along to every word. The track's electric tempo and catchy chorus had the audience going wild in a way that in words can only be described as a plethora of limbs everywhere.

On the other hand, "Silver" was a more mellow and introspective track that showcased the band's versatility. O'Dell's emotive vocals perfectly captured the song's poignant lyrics, and the stripped-back instrumentation added to the song's emotional impact. The crowd sang along to the song, caught up in the song's melody creating a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere.

Both "Lay Down" and "Silver" exemplified DMA's ability to craft memorable and moving tracks. They are evidence of the band's songwriting prowess and their ability to connect with their audience on a deeper level. These songs were the main highlights of the night, and they left a lasting impression on the crowd long after the concert had ended.

The band's stage presence was also noteworthy, with each member giving their all during every song. Guitarist Matthew Mason and Acoustic Guitarist Johnny Took, complement each other well on stage, bouncing off each other's energy. The band also took time to interact with the crowd which certainly helped to build an atmosphere and create chemistry between the crowd and them.

The encore was fantastic, with the band performing "Blown Away," "Laced," and "Feels Like 37." The night ended on a high note with "Everybody’s Saying Thursday’s The Weekend," which had that ever-famous Glasgow crowd singing along at the top of their lungs.

Each song was performed with passion and precision, and the audience was swept up in the band's energy from start to finish. DMA's have come a long way since their formation in 2012, and their evolution as a band has been reflected in their music and live performances. They continue to push boundaries and experiment with new sounds, all while maintaining the raw energy and passion that has made them such a beloved band among their fans.

It's clear that DMA’s, are a band that is here to stay, and their future is bright. With their unique sound, and dedication to their craft, DMA's have proven themselves to be one of the most exciting and innovative acts in the music scene today. For anyone who has the chance to see them live, it's an experience not to be missed.
