Hailing from Long Island, New York, we had Stray From The Path kicking off the evening and they did so in style! Supporting their latest album "Euthanasia" we got a tasty helping of new tracks including the hard hitting opener "Needful Things" and their single "Guillotine". Vocalist Drew was energetic on stage and got the crowd pumped up for the rest of the evening. Closing with fan favourite "First World Problem Child" was never in doubt and the reception this got from the audience was justified.

Next up we had Pennsylvanian metalcore act Motionless in White who were back in the UK after a few years. With a large portion of their set devoted to their 2022 album "Scoring the End of the World" we saw them unleash singles "Cyberhex" and "Masterpiece" plus a number of tracks from their back catalogue like their ferocious opener "Thoughts & Prayers". The band looked like they were enjoying every moment of being back in Scotland and even found the time to throw in their cover of The Killers huge single "Somebody Told Me". Having not really listened to much of their music, they took me by surprise and I enjoyed them a lot!

Finally the moment we were all waiting for, Beartooth hit the stage with intensity and did not take their foot off the pedal for their whole set. Opening with "Below" off their latest album of the same name, we were treated to over an hour of thrashy metalcore with some front man theatrics from vocalist Caleb Shomo. Ripping through a number of singles including "Devastation" and brand new track "Riptide" the crowd matched the band's energy throughout with constant crowd surfers and mosh pits and this was especially apparent when the band dipped into their back catalogue. Songs such as "Body Bag" and "The Lines" sent the crowd into a frenzy and the evening ended with a huge singalong to favourite "In Between". Giving us an encore of "The Past Is Dead" and then the instrumental "The Last Riff", we saw Caleb grab a guitar and make his way to the back of the room to finish their set off in style on top of the sound desk.
