Opening the show tonight we have Modern Error. The metal group have a hardcore/electronic element to their sound, and are well received by the crowd.
We get tracks from their newest full length "Victim Of A Modern Age", all of which sound huge in a small setting.
Frontman Zak Pinchin is full of energy, which is great for getting the ever filling room warmed up!

Up next are Manchester's Witch Fever. With a grimy rock sound and some elements of spoken word lyricism (think The Streets but heavier in parts), they go down well.
The band have been very vocal on social media about current events in the world, and use their platform this evening to get their point across. The majority of the room is in agreement with them, and those who are not still appear to enjoy the musical element.
Frontwoman Amy Walpole is full of energy, leaping down to the front row during their last song and getting everyone involved.

The lights go down and the crowd kick in to the Glaswegian chants of "here we, here we, here we fucking go" as headliners Hot Milk take to the stage.

Opening their set with "Welcome To The..." and "Horror Show" from new record "A Call To The Void", the energy and enthusiasm from the stage is mental from the very start.

We're treated to even more of the new album throughout the set, with the ever catchy "Alice Cooper's Pool House" being a highlight.

It's not just new tunes though, with crowd favourites "Teenage Runaways", "I Think I Hate Myself" and "Bad Influence" also being brought out.

"Breathing Underwater" has the now rammed venue in full voice, with vocalist/guitarist Han Mee letting the crowd sing one of the final choruses, and you can see she is emotionally moved from the volume of everyone.

"Candy Coated Lie$" sees Han pick an audience member to come on and take a guest vocal slot for the end of the song. We have Connor pulled up, and when he is asked where he from and says Dundee, crowd boos ensue. Connor wins everyone back though by stating that "Glasgow is still the best in Scotland". He brings great presence to the stage, and looks to be having the absolute time of his life!

The main set is closed off with "Forget Me Not", which is one which means a lot to guitarist/vocalist Jim Shaw, before the band are back on for an encore of a raucous "Glass Spiders".

Every date of this tour is sold out apart from London, so if you are in that area and have the chance to get a ticket, make sure to head along!
