All time low played to a sold out O2 Apollo Manchester this evening and to say it was electric would be an understatement. The Baltimore band took to the stage with support from The Maine and Meet Me At The Alter.

Meet Me At The Alter took to the stage shortly after the doors opened with one task in mind; blow the room temperature and warm everybody up in the process! They succeeded! The all female band exploded onto the stage with catchy lyrics and high energy to match, their set was so well received by attendees and was the perfect way to warm up before the headliners took to the stage shortly afterwards!

Next up was The Maine. They appeared on stage shortly after 8pm to their signature sweet Caroline intro which got the entire room belting out the classic. Front man o’Callaghan controlled the crowd like a well oiled machine instructing them to jump and sing like they never had before. The setlist was packed with fan favourites that had you wanting to get up and dance no matter where you were in the room. Their set was a party from start to finish and the perfect way to wait on the headliners.

Finally All Time Low took to the stage shortly after 9pm and the crowd was on fire with excitement. Opening with the new albums leading single Some Kind Of Disaster the crowd broke out into a singalong with Gaskarth creating an undeniable sense of unity between both the fans and the band. The setlist took 5 of their fast paced, dancing tracks and placed them one after the other giving fans no time for a break from the dancing. The energy can only be described as hypnotising; all you wanted to do was join in. As the band hit as they called it “the slow part in the set” an echo of singing could be heard across the room paired with a sea of lights, it was beautiful.

As they passed through the setlist a sense of unity could be felt throughout the room connecting both fans and the band as one. Ending the set with an encore of their new track Monsters into the setlist staple Dear Maria saw a sea of confetti falling across the Apollo drowning the audience in a sea of colour.

The setlist paired new songs with the classics All Time Low are known and loved for making it a truly nostalgic gig. The band are always a must to catch when they’re playing in the U.K. but this show was something else.

Catch them at a show near you soon!
