Florida rockers Sleeping With Sirens stormed the stage in Glasgow’s intimate SWG3 venue, and gave the crowd a spine tingling performance.

★★★☆☆ (3.5/5)

This gig was initially meant to be on the outside yard stage but due to poor ticket sales was moved inside to the warehouse stage, but those who made the effort and attended were treated to a rockingly good night.

Sleeping With Sirens are Kellin Quinn on vocals, Gabe Barham on drums, Nick Martin and Jack Fowler on guitars and Justin Hills on bass.  They were formed in 2009 as an amalgamation of band members of Paddock Park and For All We Know.

Onto tonights set, and it was splattered with fans favourites covering albums from 2010’s With Ears To See And Eyes To Hear, on to 2017’s album Gossip.  Opening the set with Do It Now, the band carried on with Here We Go, Empire To Ashes, Tropy, Better Off Dead.  One loud head banger after another, the Glasgow audience lapping up their style of music, Quinn and his colleagues giving their all and feeding off the audience, who were in fine voice, singing along to their favourites.

If I’m James Dean, If You Can’t Hang and Kick Me closed their 1 hour set.  The Glasgow crowd filtered out content with the evening’s entertainment and all rocked out.  For those music fans with an interest in post hardcore and alternative rock, Sleeping With Sirens are a band to catch.  Plenty of Energy and loud guitars.  What more could a pop punk fan ask for?
