Indie band Vistas headlined King Tut's on the final night of the summer sessions. With a line up full of fun and upbeat bands, including Future Firsthand's first ever set – it was destined to be great from the beginning.

First band to take to the stage were the Glaswegian indie folk/rock quinet False Friends. Influenced by the likes of Fatherson, Frightened Rabbit and Arcade Fire, the band put on a fantastic performance and got the crowd excited and dancing about. Second up were Victoria's Flight - the Alternative/pop band came and gave it their all with indie vibes which made them fit right into the line up for the night.

The final support act was the wonderful Future Firsthand. The duo from Perth put on an incredible first performance, with impressive vocals catchy beats. They highlighted the importance of mental health throughout their set which the crowd took greatly too, and even have a song on band camp raising money for a mental health charity. After the recent passing of many amazing people not only in the music industry but everyday people, it was very refreshing to see two guys so young showing the importance of mental health and talking to people. Throughout the set I could tell they had some influence from Glasgow band Prides - these guys were incredible and are going to go very far in the industry.

Then it was time for the band everybody was waiting for, Vistas. The indie upbeat band ran onto stage full of energy to the sold-out venue filled with a very happy crowd after a fantastic support line up. The Edinburgh band played all of the favourites including 'Retrospect', 'Hold Me', and 'Calm'. The band never fail to put on an amazing show and make everyone smile and dance along to the happy beats with their infectious energy creating the kind of atmosphere everybody wants at a gig. They are a band well worth checking out as they rise up in the music scene and they deserve every little bit of it.
