Popular Australian indie rock band DMA’s took to the infamous Glasgow Barrowlands as part of their tour to support the release of their new album For Now. After a fantastic support act from rock/pop band Planet - also from Sydney, Australia - the venue was filled to the brim with excitable fans waiting for DMA’s to appear on stage.

The band's dedicated fan base, of all ages and varieties, were fantastic all night - there wasn't a song that they didn’t all sing and dance along to. 'Delete' - their second single from the album Hills End - had everybody belting out the lyrics word for word sitting on each others shoulders, with phone torches in hand. Other popular tunes from their debut were also aired, such 'Step Up the Morphine' and 'Play It Out'. Lead singer Tommy O’Dell’s vocals filled the venue wonderfully, their sound fleshed out by other DMA's members Matthew Mason and Johnny Took, along with an ensemble of touring musicians.

Despite being based across the other side of the world, the inevitable Britpop comparisons that can be made to DMA's music have brought them a lot of success in the UK. For a band that only properly appeared onto the scene in 2016, they are an impressive live force to be reckoned with.
