First to hit the stage were 4-piece band Dead! From London. From the first moment they appeared on stage, they were abuzz with energy which lasted well until the end of their set. Having never heard this band live, I thought they were fantastic. It can’t be easy being first on stage and warming the crowd up, but Dead! did an amazing job. They got the crowd lively and jumping around with them as they sang songs from their newest album The Golden Age of Not Even Trying.

Next up came American band Patent Pending: even some technical issues couldn’t distract from this amazing set. The second they stepped on the stage the crowd went wild. The Patent Pending boys were full of energy, and came across as funny and engaging when interacting with the crowd. During one of their chatty sessions the lead vocalist provided the crowd with a speech. He said, “If you have goals and you want to be an artist, a singer or whatever the hell you want to be, now is your time because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed”. The lads played a few more songs with the crowd singing along and then closed their set with one of their songs from their album Second Family, called 'Douchebag'.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for, as Waterparks took to the stage. Entering the stage and starting with their song '11:11' from their new album Entertainment, it was obvious that the band would put on a great show. The crowd were clearly loving the band as they jumped around, singing along to each lyric from most of the songs. Around half way through lead vocalist Awsten appeared with an acoustic guitar to play 'Lucky People', during the performance the crowd sang quietly letting the sound of the guitar and Awsten’s voice echo through the room.

During their next song ‘Not Warriors’ some of the crowd began to throw things onto the stage, including a Scottish flag and a LBGT rainbow flag which the boys hung on each side of the stage. The band played one more song before announcing their final song ‘Stupid for You’ and thanked the crowd for coming. The lights went dark and each member left the stage, which resulted in the crowd chanting and cheering for more.

Of course, the band obliged and started their encore with ‘Crybaby’. Their final song of the night was ‘TANTRUM’ which Awsten asked the crowd to form a mini pit in the centre of the crowd: the crowd tried their best but as it was full of young girls and boys it didn’t really come to anything. The end of the song drew near with everyone jumping and singing with them as they ended their performance.
