Opening the show tonight are London's Honey Lung. Their style of emo rock is very similar to early Moose Blood, making them a perfect fit.

They manage to captivate the crowd for the majority of their set, but one or two songs seem to lack the punch to keep everyone fully involved. 
 

Up next we have The Dangerous Summer. Hailing all the way from Maryland in the United States, their brand of slightly heavier pop punk bring things up a notch sound wise.

Frontman AJ Perdomo asks the venue "Are you ready for Moose Blood?" to which he is met with shouts back of "we're ready for The Dangerous Summer!", showing that there's a section of the crowd who are here tonight for the primary reason to see them and not the headliner.
 
The highlight of their set comes in set closer "Work In Progress" which sees AJ launch himself into the crowd to get fully involved with everyone. 
 

Headliners Moose Blood take to the stage and start their set with "Have I Told You Enough" from forthcoming album "I Don't Think I Can Do This Anymore". They follow this with "Honey" from 2016's "Blush", but it's when they launch into "Bukowski" from 2014's "I'll Keep You In Mind, From Time To Time" that things really start to get going. There's a mass of crowdsurfers and the whole venue is in full voice from here on out as the band smash out a hit laden set.

We get a rare live outing of the ever emotional "Cherry" which blends perfectly into "Pastel" before we're treated to newly released single "Just Outside", with the near packed venue loving every second. 

The light show the band have brought on tour with them is nothing short of amazing, with it being especially prominent for a superb rendition of "Sway". 
 

The crowdsurfers continue, and one even manages to elude the security guards on their way over during "Talk In Your Sleep", and ends up on stage with their arm around frontman Eddy Brewerton before being chased off by one of the bands crew. 

The set is finished with "Knuckles" and "It's Too Much", before the venue empties into the cold Glasgow night. 

Moose Blood's new album "I Don't Think I Can Do This Anymore" is due for release on 9th March, and we for one can't wait to hear it!
