Django Django are a British art rock band based in London, England. The group was formed in 2009. They have released a self-titled studio album in 2012, followed up by Born Under Saturn, released on 4 May 2015.

An adventurous, genre-blurring approach to rock music has served Django Django well over recent years, propelling them from art school graduate oddballs to something vaguely approaching mainstream success: a realm of Mercury prize nominations and appearances on video-game soundtracks and adverts. They have a massive tour planned and started it of in Dundee and Aberdeen was the next stop.

Man On Moon:

They only had one support act for the evening and they were a two man band called Man on Moon. They are from Edinburgh and are supporting part of the tour. They had a great set and have an amazing reception from the crowd. The drummer was amazing and so passionate when performing for having only two members they sounded so complex and had a lot of talent.

The band seemed delighted with their own experimentation; their boyish sense of glee in music’s possibilities was endearing and enchantingly playful rather than irritating. They also had a lovely backdrop that linked to their tour merch all related to their new album. Overall it was a great evening. A few of the tour dates have sold out so be sure to catch them if you can during their tour.
