All the way from Brooklyn, New York, tonight's openers Worriers put on a great set to start things off.

With a sound which can be likened to that of punk legends The Clash, the 4 piece led by frontwoman Lauren Denitzio entertain the ever growing crowd in The Garage.

Highlight of their set comes in "Gaslighter" from their "Survival Pop" album, with it's catchy hook chorus "I just wanna be alone sometimes" still in our heads as we leave tonight's show.

Worriers are back in the UK again in November for a co headline tour with Nervus, so make sure you check out a show!

Up next are Canadian rockers Cancer Bats. With frontman Liam Cormier stepping onstage and letting out an almighty scream, they launch into "Gatekeeper" and the whole place goes insane.

The energy oozing from each member is incredible and they don't appear to stop moving the whole set.

The banter Liam has with the crowd is also something which has to be noted. His superb renditions of classic Limmy (an online Scottish sketch comedian) sketches have everyone in stitches before he tells us "We didn't come here for that. We came here to rock! You've all been drinking f*****g snakebite and Buckfast!" and the band launch into the raucous "Hail Destroyer".

A cover of the Beastie Boys classic "Sabotage" is a highlight of their set as Chris #2 from Anti Flag appears to provide some extra vocals for the song, before the set is finished with "Bricks & Mortar".

Cancer Bats are always an incredible act to watch, so make sure you do if you get the chance!

Storming the stage and opening with "Die For The Government", Anti Flag are tremendous from the very start.

Frontman Justin Sane, bassist Chris #2, guitarist Chris Head and drummer Eric (usual drummer Pat Thetic is not out on tour as he has just became a Father to a baby boy) keep up the energy levels set by the opening bands this evening.

Anti Flag have always been a politically driven band, with a speech on the recent Pittsburgh attacks and how that made it hard for them to be away from home preceding a blistering run through of "Racists" with hard hitting lyrics "just cause you don't know you're racist, a bigot with a check list, just cause you don't know you're racist, you don't get a pass when you're talkin your sh*t" which is swiftly followed in the set by "F**k Police Brutality".

Highlight of their set comes in the triple hitter of "This Is The End (For You My Friend)" into "American Attraction" and "The Press Corpse".

Worriers Lauren Denitzio joins the band onstage for a cover of The Cranberries "Salvation" before the evening is rounded off with "Drink Drank Punk" and "Brandenburg Gate", the latter which has Chris #2 in amongst the crowd.

Anti Flag are a force to be reckoned with live, and never disappoint so catch them if you can!
