Prides had two local Scottish support acts: Another, The Cliftons. They both played similar styled music as the main band. Normally during a support act not many fans arrive and wait until the main act to go. However, this gig was different the crowd was equally excited for both supports and the main. Both acts are pretty new in the industry so it was great for them to perform to such an amazing crowd.

Prides are a Scottish indie band formed in Glasgow in 2014 and made up of Stewart Brock and Callum Wiseman. They released their debut album 'The Way Back Up' on 10 July 2015. The band are managed by Ally McCrae and Joel Mark and signed to Island Records. The brilliant Prides are back on the road with a bunch of new songs and were more than happy to show them off to the crowd.

They have brought in Adam Parker, from Dundee outfit Make Sparks, on drums as well as two other musicians to bolster their live sound. Even though it was a small venue it did not impact the atmosphere. Watching them perform on stage was fascinating. They were so alive and full of energy. They had clearly been ready for that performance for ages and they gave it everything. They are so confident with their music and this is shown throughout their performance in Aberdeen.

They are due to perform at Dundee’s festival Carnival 56 in summer. No doubt this will be an amazing performance and like in Aberdeen’s performance they will have so much energy and passion.
