Kasabian return to Scotland to play two sold-out shows in Glasgow and Aberdeen this weekend, following their massive headline set at Scotland's newest festival 'TRNSMT fest' at Glasgow Green during the summer this year.

Opening up for Kasabian were Slaves  who are two-piece from Tunbridge Wells in Kent, the band consists of a drummer and vocalist and a bassist and guitarist who have been having the best time ever over past few years, releasing their second album last year and playing last minute gig in Summer due to cancellation of Green Day's performance. Slaves were ideal and best support act to open up for Kasabian for Glasgow crowd. Kicking off their set with massive hit-number 'Sockets' the crowd were already going wild for the band.  Slaves just kept their set going playing songs off their catalogue from their two released albums, playing songs such as 'Fuck the hi-hat' off their latest album and 'Cheer Up london' off their debut album. Band ended with 'The Hunter' which really got the crowd going for Kasabian. As Laurie and Issac left the stage, the band left one of best atmospheres for a headline band to walk on stage to.

Having kicked off their UK sold-out Arena Tour in Newcastle on Friday evening, Kasabian returned to Glasgow, playing hits from their back catalogue boasting an array of hits and a reputation for fierce live performances, an expectant Hydro crowd was in for a treat, as always the atmosphere for Kasabian in Glasgow is always massive.

As the lights went down after fifth-teen minute count down on the side-screens, the sound of 'Fox 20th Century intro' echoed though the venue and the band appeared on stage to roaring crowd chanting "here we, here we, here we fucking go.." The epic trumpet intro welcomed the band on stage as they launched into their 90-minute show. “ HELLO GLASGOW.... shouted Meighan during Ill Ray (The King)” before song included, the crowd just went into frenzy, the performance even resulted in a flare being released from the crowd.

Rocking in their white denim, the band continued their set with their 2014 hit number 'Bumbleebee' which basically made the crowd go even more wilder, this was also followed by EEZ-EH lead single of their previous album '48:13', but the real highlight of the night was when the uber-catchy oldie 'Underdog' kicked in and the arena enjoyed mass singalong.

The band just continued to play songs of their catalogue, no let-up as band blasted into their recent hit-single 'Shoot The Runner' which crowd were bouncing and sing along to, this was followed by their comeback single this year 'You're In Love With A Psycho' and then into their anthemic 'Clubfoot', which went down a storm with an eye-catching light show.

The band were clearly loving the experience in Glasgow as they always do, it's one their favourite places to perform in the world and guitarist Serge Pizzorno told his Glasgow fans that a reception like that is why they are in a band. The crowd responded and lapped up the big hits which included Empire, Stevie and new-up beat single 'Bless This Acid House'. Their set concluded with  'L.S.F (Lost Souls Forever)', from the band’s first album, along with some noisy audience participation where the band encouraged their fans to break the decibel level for the tour, with a noise counter being shown on the big screens, pulling in '112Db' the highest so far on their tour. Serge tweeted after the show "Still hasn’t quite sunk in how good that gig was #glasgow! That will be ingrained in the soul forever. 112Db will be hard to beat x SP".

The band finished their three-song encore with one of their biggest hits, Fire. The lyric “I’m on fire” summing the band up fittingly.
