Up first tonight is Detroit's Danny Brown. Accompanied by his DJ and an amazing light show, from the minute he takes to the stage the whole place is bouncing. Everyone in view can be seen raising arms and jumping along with the tracks. His unique vocal style may take some by surprise, but when you get used to it his set is superb.

Set highlight comes in the form of "Smokin & Drinkin" from his 2013 album "Old" which has everyone in the venue chanting the chorus back.

In perhaps the most bizarre end to a set we've witnessed, Danny starts to throw random items of his clothing out into the crowd until he's walking off stage minus his t shirt, shoes, watch and belt. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable set!

Run The Jewels storm the Academy's stage and the venue ERUPTS. Made up of Killer Mike and El-P, Run The Jewels have been on the go since 2013 and have produced some insane albums, with tonight showcasing a selection of the best tracks from them.

Their stage setup is amazing, with two giant inflatable hands hanging above them in the RTJ symbols.

Having been on tour for 11 months, and tonight being the last show of the tour, you could be forgiven for thinking they may be slightly lagging... they are anything but this. The energy from the stage is crazy and this carries over onto the crowd. If you thought they were wild for Danny Brown opening, that was nothing.

Set highlight comes in the form of "Legend Has It" from 2016's "Run The Jewels 3" which has the whole crowd screaming back it's catchy hook of "And the crowd goes RTJ"

Things are slowed down towards the end of the set for a superb run through of "Thursday In The Danger Room" and "Down" before the band leave the stage, but it's not long before the chants of "RTJ" bring them back out for an amazing encore of "A Christmas Fu*king Miracle" and "Run The Jewels", the latter being dedicated to the mosh pit down the front.

If you've ever wanted to go to a gig that's filled with crazy, high octane energy from start to finish, go see Run The Jewels as you'll get exactly that!
