Old Dominion proved themselves to be more than capable of hyping the packed crowd up, playing an assortment of songs from both their first studio album, “Meat and Candy” and their most recent 2017 release “Happy Endings”. Lead singer Matthew Ramsay’s strong Tennessee accent echoed around the venue and truly got the Country vibe flowing – but it wasn’t until mention of a special request from Thomas Rhett himself to play their song “Stars in the City” that the crowd got properly ecstatic.

Everyone waited eagerly as Old Dominion shuffled off stage and a countdown from thirty seconds began. When it finally hit zero, Thomas burst straight into a rendition of his single “Crash and Burn” and had everyone screaming, dancing and singing along. He followed up his introduction song with “South Side” and “Get Me Some”. Later in the show, Thomas went on to cover a slowed down version of Bruno Mars “24K Magic” and had the whole crowd singing along. The true stand out songs of the show were “Marry Me” and his album title track “Life Changes” - he pointed out that it means a lot to him because this year he became a father of two. As the show came to an end Thomas and the band went on to entertain the crowd with their synchronized dance moves. The show “ended” with the band leaving but with the crowd cheering louder and louder they quickly returned to perform some songs from his last album “Tangled Up”.
