First on tonight we have Canadian rockers The Wild! With a perfect Rock n Roll sound, they fit tonights bill brilliantly. Energy oozes off all members, with guitarist The Kid barely staying in one spot for more than a second. Highlight of the set comes in "Ready To Rock" from 2017 album "Wild At Heart", with it's punchy riffs getting everyone going for the night ahead.

Up next we have Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons. Heralding from Wales, and fronted by the legend Phil Campbell himself, with the rest of the band being made up by his sons Todd (guitar), Dane (drums), Tyla (bass) and vocalist Neil Starr, they have a massive sound which fills the whole room. With Phil having been the lead guitarist in Motörhead before the sad passing of Lemmy Kilmister which led to the end of the band, it's nice to see him back on a stage again. Their set includes some amazing renditions of Motörhead classics "Rock Out", "Born To Raise Hell" and "Ace Of Spades" mixed in nicely with original material from their already released self titled EP. We're also treated to "Dark Days" from their forthcoming debut album, due for release in January.

Storming the stage and immediately kicking into "Ready To Rock" from 2013's "Black Dog Barking", you can tell straight away that Airbourne mean business. With a set consisting of hits from their entire back catalogue, the whole venue turns into a sea of headbangers and crowd surfers.

"Rivalry" from 2016's "Breakin' Outta Hell" brings on a massive singalong, before frontman Joel O'Keeffe proclaims "I think that's enough new shit, time to play some old shit!" and launches into "Girls In Black" from 2007 debut album "Runnin' Wild". "Girls In Black" also brings a highlight of the night, with Joel jumping onto a roadie's shoulders and going through the whole crowd, stopping only to smash a beer can off his head until it bursts and soaks everyone nearby.

"All For Rock n Roll" is dedicated to the late, great Lemmy Kilmister. During the track a make shift bar is rolled out onto the stage, with Joel pouring Jack & Cokes (Lemmy's favourite drink) before the band toast to the memory of Lemmy, and then launch the drinks into the crowd.

The main set is finished with "Stand Up For Rock 'N' Roll" and everyone begins to chant for an encore.

An air raid siren sounds and the band return to the stage and kick into "Live It Up", more beers are thrown into the crowd with one person even managing to catch one! The set is finished off with "Raise The Flag" and "Runnin' Wild" and some final words from Joel...

"As long as you are alive, and as long as we are alive... rock and roll will never ever die!" and after tonight's performance, you have to agree he has got it spot on!
